Accent's you hate/ can't understand?

I don't think I hate any of them. I love most accents, haha.

I get a lot of crap about my Canadian accent if I'm travelling, but I have to admit it's usually pretty funny so what can you do. :lemon:

I don't hate or dislike any accents, but I have a very hard time understanding some British and Asian accents. My mom loves British comedies, but I can't understand half of what they're saying ;(

.

i really hate dutch accents. im dutch myself and worked quite hard not sound like it but everything sounds just so damn flat. the weird thing is also how some dutch people can perfectly pronounce french and german but when you hear their english you just want to cringe away. also hate them cocky brittish accents. also indian accents can easily annoy me. some of the rare english speaking parts in anime are also cringe worthy. even tho i havent seen s2 of free that part where they speak english are just a hell no.

i like all accents except those southern redneck ones
it's weird being from new jersey and going to a different part of the country/world and people are like "wo, u have an accent!" bc i never think my voice sounds accented but everyone has one so i guess i do too oop

It depends what kind of humor you have and the way you look at things. Nothing is truly nasty and nothing is truly good either. I personally don't think it was nasty at all, it's funny. Anyways if you wanna be butthurt over my joke than that's on you, not me. buh bye. :)

You said I was nasty and a psycho for making a joke once

Southern, African, New York, Australian

I don't really hate national accents as much as I hate specific voices such as the nasally voice, the spoiled rich kid voice, the mentally ******** voice, etc.
tf is an 'african' accent like there's so many subcategories and ur gonna group them all like that ok.

- - - Post Merge - - -

If ur from Texas idfwu unless ur tae but no accents from there.

TBH I don't really like to discriminate against others based on linguistic stuff, there's always way too much elitism in that sort of idea to me

wtf is "the mentally ********" voice?

I really like all accents, it's frustrating sure when they are very thick and hard to understand, but all accents can be like that, working in a hotel I've talked to many different languages people who have thick hard to understand accents, so I mean as long as I can understand them I like their accents. =D

i cant understand british tbh especially the super heavy ones but i dont mind them :/ i dont like my arab accent

Irish accents bother me only for some people. Some people sound good with the accent, others it just doesn?t suit them.

Also unpopular opinion but sometimes British accents annoy me. (Sorry to anyone who?s British but I said sometimes) I actually prefer Australian accents because I like how they sound, and actually have relatives from there and I love hearing them talk because Australian accents are so nice.

Really thick southern accents and Irish accents I often have trouble understanding. If someone has a very very strong Australian accent I may have trouble understanding them too.

I enjoy hearing people speak with all sorts of different accents. It's part of their native language and culture and I think it sounds pretty cool.

The only accent I'm not too fond of is my own Southern US accent, so I try to tone it down quite a bit. I always get embarrassed when a word slips out in a southern drawl.

I often have a hard time understanding people who have Japanese accents.

those stereotypical redneck ones. i just can't stand them!!

Same to be honest. I’m from Texas, but I don’t have a western or country accent at all and I can’t stand it when I’m around others that do have that sort of accent.

That said though, even though my voice sounds normal, people have told me before I sound like I have a hint of British in my accent 0_o

I've always lowkey wondered what my own accent is @ __ @ I don't have the usual Filipino accent when speaking English because I grew up speaking English, and its the reverse for me, I have an English accent when I speak Filipino. But I obviously don't have an American accent either cause I don't live there so.. what is my accent lol
