Speaking of cranky villagers, they are excellent in the original GameCube game. I loved it when they threw insults at you for no reason. Sure, their attitudes are toned down a lot in newer games, but I still love how hilarious it is that they act like they're old farts.Smug used to be my favorite of the male villager personalities in New Leaf, but their depiction in New Horizons leaves a lot to be desired. Glad that most of my favorite Smugs are in my New Leaf towns where they can deliver the good dialogue. It's a shame that Cephalobot debuted in New Horizons because he's one of my favorite designs too.
Cranky usurped Smug's place as my favorite for the males in New Horizons, they're great in this game.
Gotta keep the kids in the back-to-school spirit.HHP has less facilities so WHY WASTE A FACILITY SLOT WITH THE SCHOOL. It doesn't fit the theme of the DLC, an island paradise. Who goes to school on vacation?
HHD had way more varient than HHP in terms of FacilitiesHappy Home Designer had School, Hospital, Cafe, Shop, Second Shop, Office, Restaurant, Department Store, Concert Hall, Hotel.
Happy Home Paradise has School, Cafe, Restaurant, Hospital, and Apparel Shop.

crafting them individually is one of the worst things in the game!!!!Yeah and its so time consuming. My thumb got really sore from crafting so many fish bait.
Again Bulk Crafting NEEDED to be a thing in this game but Nintendo refused to listen.crafting them individually is one of the worst things in the game!!!!
Don’t forget all the different variants you can get for most items. If you have bells to waste, you can obtain missing variants via Cyrus, but it’s super time consuming. I’d probably need to look over a spreadsheet of stuff I’m still missing and obtain them that way, but again, that’s also time consuming. Lucky for me, I’m too invested in this game to not ignore missing stuff in my catalog, so I’m still actively trying to complete my catalog. The game needs a way to track the percentage of my catalog that's complete. There's like, 19,000 items in the catalog. You get Nook Miles unlocked when you hit 500. That's basically nothing.

This is why my friends never talk to me lol
Here’s my very petty complaint of the day: I wish I could pose villagers better if I’m taking photos of them, especially if I want them doing something specific outside. Yeah, we got reactions, but there’s more that villagers can do than what’s in that menu, such as the one reaction they do when they’re minorly
Kudos to all the hard working players that make things like this possible. The community as a whole really needs to acknowledge these guys more. It really isn’t easy to find every single thing you can get in a game like this, especially if the game doesn’t tell you what you still don’t have.Oh yeah, the 19,000 includes those variants.

This site is amazing.
I am surprised this game doesn't have any sort of "Special Menu" to keep track of how much stuff you collected. I mean sure there are the bugs, fish, and sea creatures you collected in the Critterpedia that does keep track and thats fine, but everything else like the DIYS and the Catalog are not there. Like how can you tell what DIYS you've learned and haven't learn? And how can you tell what Furniture items are you still missing? The game needs a way to track the percentage of my catalog that's complete. There's like, 19,000 items in the catalog.
