@natty, I initially thought the maf was generally inexperienced players but its probably more likely a lurky, inactive bunch. I don't even wanna say lurky because thats not the right word but definitely quieter, like theyre letting people dispute amounst themselves and watching. although naturally i dont know the intentions behind literally anything someone else does so it kinda unfair for me to base experience off of the kills or whatever. I'm just trying to make connections :/

As for you being on my scum pool, also evan and Hikari, its not an outcome of your specific actions perse because you havent done anything that I'd consider a scum slip. but very seldom that actually happens with a lot of players, especially you guys because I know you profread your messages before you post them. I'm basing the scum pool around other people's tells, who are far less likely to be mafia than you in my opinion. And as I go through my head the multiple different scenerios for scum team, You Hikari and Evan are the 3 people who slip my radaar most consistently. Hikari slips because I'm not seeing a lot of ppsts from them, Evan slips because he isn't the attention point of any specific conversations, and you slip because you're playing reserved yet engged. Which actually if I'm being quite honest is out of the ordinary for you, but I'm not ready to go back to other games and compare because META has served me so wrong in the past. So when I speculate about the mafia being quiet or avoiding spotlight, and I've been on quiet mafia teams and won, you three not only fit the bill for me but are also part of 2/3 playerlist that isn't confirmed any role, soft or hard. It's all a guess for me but I feel like its logical, I did the math anyhow, statistically for every 3.75 people I guess, one of them is likely mafia. Waffles I'm 99% certain is, so I narrowed down my guess pool tight to you 3, which is where I got the 2/4 of you guys is probably scum. And I stand by my thoughts now, not my thoughts day 1

I'm typing this on mobile, but Jacob I suggest you go reread the interaction between Byngo and Rune. There's kinda a tell there that makes me think they're not connected.

Also I would argue that this isn't scum Byngo we're dealing with.

Ugh, one last thing. Reading back, I didn't mean this as in Rune or Hikari aren't good because they havent played in a while, I meant to say like I'm not familiar with their play style, as I'm sure not a lot of people are. From what I read of the older games theyre both visibly logical players

Only new information I'm seeing is that Ness got a message with Waffles being scum, nobody is coming out to claim an inspecting role or anything similar to the caroler role I mentioned earlier. Also Heyden claims to have been protected from a kill. Punchy was a killing of a clear-player. Honestly I think this is the result of there being another messenger and that Locket was weak town targeted by mafia with that message to Bianca. But Ness being the message target and Waffles being the 'mafia' shortly after Ness made a case against her seems odd. If this is a team of 4 inexperienced mafia players I could see this as a really weak attempt to get the vulnerable Waffles lynched.

But what do I really think is going on? I think there's a mafia messenger, Locket was legit town targeted to seem like a displaced inspection result or in the least incite chaos, and Waffles is a reverse-psychology situation. Waffles seems like it's almost too forced of a choice for their message of who 'mafia' is and I think they want us to realize that and draw that conclusion that it's too convenient of a choice and that we'll townread Waffles because of it. Because I don't think even a team with at least one or two mid-tear players and no experienced players would even do something that obvious and expect some of us alive to swallow it.

It's really frustrating because I had a behavioral scumread on Locket in addition to the message but now I'm not quite so sure. Indeed, if there's a cop who inspected both of these people and for some reason it's displaced, you should out. If there's a custom role that legitimately inspects someone, you should out. Because that'll have us at 3/4 of the mafia out of the way. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure this is a messenger situation though. And that maybe my reads on Locket were wrong and by extension I need to re-evaluate Jacob and glow but with the latter I still get a bad feeling.

My pool is now Waffles/glow/Jacob/Bianca/Byngo/Hikari in order of sus.

The possibly "fabricated" return as mafia results - You really can't be too sure about this, because a mafia "inspection" result is a result, and there is the possibility it could be real. But heres my theory: It's already been speculated and pretty universally decided (I think) that the messages were fake. They aren't even in the same format with the colors. Besides, would trundle even word it like that? ____ Is Mafia. Would he not say something like _____ Came back as Mafia-Alligned or _______ Shows red blood or something more formal than just "is Mafia"? I think Locket's was a lie, the mafia wrote a message and sent it out to Bianca, thinking she'd believe it or something, and failing to color the word mafia as a normal host would. Then they thought that since no one believed the first message about Locket (as we didn't vote her), they sent a similar one about a scum partner, Waffles, changing up the format thinking people wouldn't believe it as well.

This is what I was trying to explain earlier (mainly to myself, maybe to others, I don't know.)

I'm sending my vote in for Waffles, though it might change later.
