Annoying neighbors

My neighbors are not all of that annoying actually. No one blasts music, which is very nice. One neighbor somewhere *does* have a dog that howls all day and night. I'm sure that dog is precious, but I don't know how the owner tolerates that all of the time. That's all I've got.

Squidward knows what's up. He's kinda pompous sometimes but honestly I would not want Spongebob or Patrick as neighbors and I would be super depressed working the counter at a fast food place. His life is kind of a nightmare so I get where he's coming from.

True. I worked retail for four years and I gradually but certainly saw myself becoming Squidward. Squidward is a relatable character.

It's kind of sad that bad neighbors have to exist. If people would just respect the people they live next to there would be no problems. My neighbor likes to unleash his lawn equipment as well as other loud tools throughout the day. Every time I decide to lay on the hammock he decides to ruin it with his loud equipment. At least the winter is pretty quiet.

My neighbor is a little bit old and delusional, her yard has become an overgrown forest that's slowly making it's way into my yard and it is terribly annoying. I also occasionally hear her ringing a disturbingly loud bell very late at night for some reason..

I used to live in a rough area so I got involved with nasty people. My next door neighbours were my best friends, I lived in a flat so I was very close to everyone. There were other nice people (some of the kids who were my age at the time) though. I developed risky behavior and although I was sweet and shy I grew to be very aggressive and protective. I'd always hear fights in the night, stuff being smashed and just shouting, so I'd find it hard to sleep. Luckily we got out of there around 6 years ago and I live in a much better place now, sometimes my neighbours are irritating because of some dogs and this woman who has left her weed to grow so much it's covered our kitchen window and coming up to our bathroom but they're nice. I also live next to a guy who's a good friend of mine.

haha oh yes. I just moved into an apartment with my significant other and our neighbors moved in shortly after...

First, they had a dog. A Rottweiler puppy who was super cute but VERY loud and barky. Especially when they left it alone. all. day. Eventually, I can tell they locked it in a room because its barking was echoing. I think someone complained because they got rid of the dog soon after they moved in. :(
They blast their music late at night on weekdays, so much so that it vibrates our walls. They definitely got the police called on them because we have a noise ordinance. :')
Aaaand they have gone through an obvious domestic abuse phase where they would scream at each other (it was a couple and some random roommate guy) and the boyfriend was screaming at the girl to leave one night.

So far that's it! ... ;;

oh geez...
*Had neighbors next door who would refer to the neighborhood as: 'The hood' and almost every morning while they were on their porch some guy would say really loud:'GOOD MORNING TO THE HOOD YALL!' I SWEAR no matter WHERE I hid every single morning I could STILL hear them scream that every morning. That is also one of the reasons why we moved away.
*Classic cranky old man who watched his well-manicured lawn like a hawk 24-7 it seemed like. I've tried cutting across his lawn as a shortcut to get to my house, but then he'd get really mad and say:'What the hell are you doing on my lawn!? Get off!!!'
*Woman in my apartment I used to live in screamed at her kids ALL. THE. TIME. Her apartment room was RIGHT next to mine, and you could hear every thing going on in there. I honestly think she abused those poor kids..... 'YOU DAMN ******* GET OFF THE COUCH! GO TO YOUR ROOM'
*Also in the same apartment, there was a couple right across from us who fought just about every night, but one night my parents and I heard glass shattering, thuds, and screams. I had to call the cops because my parents went to see what was going on and found out THEY WERE FIGHTING EACH OTHER WITH GLASS SHARDS AND KNIFES. That was the worst....

As of currently, my neighbors are pretty chill for the most part except for the leaf blowers in the morning. They usually start at 7:30am and it makes me want to scream like whyyyyyy. Our walls/windows are crap so you can hear the neighbors and gardeners outside. There's no escape from it.

My other neighbor plays their electric guitar every day. I normally don't mind music but it had to be country. =^=

ArGh! dont even get me started! only lived in two houses in my entire life and BOTH TIMES horrendous rude jerky loud and obnoxious people! and somehow Im the jerk when I complain! thank god Im moving out of town soon!!

Mine are pretty annoying , the 2 houses that are close to my house , 1 of them has those neighbors that love screaming and the second house the woman who lives there has like 4 dogs and hearing them bark loudly and hearing the woman screaming to them is very annoying.

Atleast the third house that is close to mine nobody lives there (its old and awful)

Thankfully I've been fortunate enough to have nice neighbours, and our neighbourhood in general is full of pleasant people. We're a rather small community so we're all fairly respectful of peace and privacy. Occasionally one family in our street gets a little rowdy at night, usually if there's a football game happening or something similar, and they tend to stay out in their garden late into the night. I'm a couple houses away from them though so it's not much of an annoyance for me.

I know that my sister has had trouble with neighbours over in Germany which is frustrating for her, and I witnessed it myself when I was visiting last year. Not only are they a disturbance at night, they've also got a bad record for stealing letters and packages, which is really sickening.
