Are you like a different person online?

Nah, I'm pretty much the same here as I am irl. I hate pretending to be someone I'm not, so online I always portray myself as I actually am.

Though I have a bit more confidence online because I have time to think before I say something.

i'm very different irl. i talk without thinking too much but on the internet i spend 4 minutes on a two sentence post lol
i'm also more gentle on here as i rather not offend someone on the internet bc theyre more ruthless

I remember my girlfriend saying that I'm sweeter and much more nicer talking to people online lol. I don't really notice but for sure, I swear a lot in real life.

Yeah I'm a bit more different. I'm very logical and distant in real life but part of that is because I am horrible at understanding other people but that's just my brain. I think I'm nicer online because I can take time for responses and work to understand a situation from different angles for the best perspective and so to not offend anyone, which I can be prone to doing by accident. So in simpler words, yes I'm pretty distant in real life but I like to think I'm a lot more approachable online!

Not exactly. I mean online it's a bit more difficult to tell what emotion I'm expressing if that means anything, but I pretty much talk and act the same.

I think everyone has ways where they act differently in different scenarios. Like how someone might be more formal at work than with their family, or might avoid certain topics with their family that they are super open about with their friends. I think the internet is just another form of that- when you are put in a different situation, you will have different reactions.

I think I'm a lot more talkative online than I am IRL, by a huge amount. I sort of have some mental troubles that make it harder for me to communicate verbally, and I also don't really do well with talking "on the fly" and like when I have a little extra time to think about what I'm saying.

I tone myself down online, mostly so as not to make children/young teens uncomfortable. But other than that there's not really any difference.

I definitely am a different person online. While I'm still not that chatty online either, in real life I just never talk. It's easier to talk to new people on the internet since I'm not going to see their expressions after I've suddenly inconvenienced them with messages right out of the blue. ;)

I am raging more online, let's say.
I am a very, very shy person irl and also online,
but I am also very easily aggressive (not happy about that)..
irl I can handle it, as I am too shy to shout at someone,
but online if you annoy me, I don't care if I get banned
on a website / forum / game or not, lol.

Uhh I guess

I find it hard to talk to people in real life and because I have very low self esteem I tend to hide from others to prevent any negative attention.

That's different online as the people on places like this are generally more tolerant and open minded

When I'm online I talk more grown up even I am pretty close to a grow up and irl I don't like to talk that much then I do online.

I have both sides on both worlds (IRL and the internet): Shy as heck to the point of not eating thinking I eat too ugly, or so cheerful and happy that I think I was kicked out from a 2015 Disney Channel show to my parent's house.

I used to be, not anymore. Let's just say that I was quite forceful with my opinions online back around 2013, which I never was like IRL...

I am extremely shy irl but very talkative and like happy sorta when I talk haha. Totally opposite of my self irl which is weird.
