Art Prizes Announcement

Hello! I'm Allyson! I started an art prize contest a few months ago, although never announced winners. I deeply apologize. I had some major life issues come up and had to step away from the internet for a few months. I know this is not an excuse, but I am sincerely sorry I never came back to give the prizes all the lovely artists deserved.

The winners are:

I think I'll close this thread. And just contact the winners personally. I'm feeling sort of attacked. I do apologize for being away and not being able to hand out the prized to the winners, but it's passed and there is not much I can do now but give the winners their prizes.

Good on you for coming back to pay the winners their prize. I hope you do contact them privately instead of having them request their prize from you as well. As for other contradictions, I can't really add much to it other than profile shows last visit and tumblr was quite active. The fact that the ask box suddenly became unavailable after your months hiatus was fishy too. I wish you the best~

I can only tell you what I know and that I was unable to access internet. I know this to be true. My tumblr isn't entirely mine.
I can only give the prizes to the winners and apologize. You are all allowed to be annoyed at me. Absolutely.
All I can do is give the prizes to the winners. Which I promise I will do. I'm going to leave this thread alone now. I contacted the winners. I will not return to this forum after giving the prizes to the respective winners, if that makes anyone somewhat relieved.

It does actually, thank you. I dont resent this anymore btw, since I don't really care, I'm just suspicious and I feel sorry for everyone who put so much time into their entries and probably can't enter a contest without being worried anymore.

Everyone has the right to be suspicious. I would be too. Although I can only tell everyone what I know. The winners will get their prizes, even though it's a few months late.

When someone tries to make amends for something they've done wrong you shouldn't just throw it back in their face. It's brave that she even chose to come back and honour something that happened so long ago. You don't have to accept her apology but at least acknowledge that she's trying to put things right.
