Cycling Aurum Cycling [Updates in Thread]

Anabelle fans unite, what up! *fistbump*
Lurking for Anabelle's unlikely to bear fruit for you, I should warn you... Because she's one of the two remaining villagers I want for myself, so I'll totally Cycler fiat her out if I find her in Aurum before I can get her. Sorry. ^^;
I'll mark you down, though, in the hopes that I'll be able to get her somewhere before she shows up in Aurum.

Do you want me to try and cycle Papi out now? :3

Only if you'd be doing a method that lets you know the move-out date, as opposed to be on it directly, since you're ahead of me, time-zone wise, and I don't know when I can get Victoria out. But, yeah, it looks like I'll be able to make space, even if I have to just brute force it.

No problem! I think she's pretty unique so I don't understand why she and the other anteaters aren't more popular. I'm happy with Flora too. Flora and Anabelle are my two favorite Peppies, so one is good enough for me. I wish you luck on getting your dreamies! :)

I think their being unique-looking is exactly why they're not more popular; responses to the general category of anteater don't converge towards "cute," or "not-cute," but are sort of scattershot. I personally like anteaters as a group, but I have to admit, I can see why they're not, say, cats. On the other hand, she's some sort of Pangolin, and Pangolins are the best, so my response is to shake my head at people and their weak animal game. Also, she's got adorable bright eyes. Anabelle's precious.

Flora's pretty cute, too, so best of luck for you on that front. I respect the "offbeat animal interpretation of the species' model" styling there.

Anyway, I think that's a good policy, having a couple of villagers for a personality type that it'd be great to have; it's what I about had, but with 3 (2, really) left, it's gameface time! Down to the wire! All that jazz!

I'll be using your method to cycle Papi out :3 I'm also trying to get rid of Ankha.

Best of luck, then! Let me know how things go, and what sort of timeframe. (If no one pings on the second wander through the "one year forward" day, try checking for rumors or people you missed going through the 'Wow, you're not dead!' dialogue)

I can't believe no one is lurking for Ankha yet! I really want to get rid of mine haha

I'm trying to get the ninth villager to move out so I can start Deme's method :) I don't want a random move out happening.

Cycling question~ what do I do if someone tricks me into thinking they're moving, and then they decide not to?

Quit your game without saving. Open it to that same day, and that same person will still ping you to move, and you'll get another chance. The game's been prepared, so who's planning on moving is now fixed. But if you didn't save that conversation, then that villager backing out isn't saved. Sometimes, they'll back out several times, but it really is just random.
Or, heck, you can just ignore them entirely. They're planning on moving, and you probably know the day from the first conversation. Why fix what isn't broken?

If it's too late, and you've already saved, then treat it as if you refused them.

I saved :( what do I do now lol

I'll start VMing you to save having a conversation on this thread.

Ah, sorry to waste your time but I found Avery, you can take me off the lurk list. Again, thank you for putting a lurk for Avery. :)

Well, she's moving out of my main town now, so there's no need to lurk! When next you're online, we can arrange a pick-up! The sooner, the better!

Tragically, our next move in is neither Inky, Blinky, nor Clyde, presumably because I don't think any of those are villagers. What a pity. Our next move in is... Leonardo!

And our next move-out is...
Pashmina!
The lurkers have been informed, and they'll have a few hours to claim her before I open her to general adoption. I can TT to her move-out date of October 10th for anyone's convenience.
