I think it’s time to introduce a new cake collectible. I would like the double-chocolate cake collectible, or the tasty chocolate cake collectible. Either way, no glow wand collectible could win against these cakes.

to be fair, I was like 3-4 when I played my first game (I'm 14 now for reference), so I may be misremembering. My first console OWNED by me (DS was owned by a family friend) was either a Wii (2009 console, so came out same year I was born I think), 3DS XL (Christmas gift) or Xbox 360 (hand-me-down from my dad). Favorite games for each were Mario Power Tennis (still have, and first played at age of 6), Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (still have, first played when I got my 3DS) and Epic Mickey 2 (also still own and was first played at the age of 5. I know this one because I had a habit of deleting the save file before completion, so my dad and I never beat it lmao)

I haven't been active on here in a long time, and I don't participate in online forums anymore, but it was nice receiving that email and remembering all the memories I had of that era. I had no idea joining the IGN Animal Crossing boards in 2007 would lead me down such a rabbit hole of experiences that gave me community and friendships across ACC and TBT.

Happy anniversary TBT. I hope the spirit of friendship and fun continues for another 20.

Wow, dude. So, I joined TBT last year in June or July I believe, and was really active during Space Camp 2023. Since then, I’ve just rarely ever been active. I did a bit during Christmas season when I was off from school, but besides that, I’ve been really silent. I apologize to those who remember me being active like I once was, I’m really trying to check in from time to time. I’m missing all these events, as I just don’t have time to fully participate.

I love taking part in the TBT events especially the crafty ones as they get me back into one of my favourite subjects which has always been art

also the fact ive gotten to know so many users through events is a plus too!
(the collectables aren't half bad)

I do miss playing hide n seek with my villagers in NH. I remember the first time I saw Teddy ‘hiding’ behind a lamppost…

Thanks for the update! I'm really looking forward to the events in March and April. Specifically the "Farewell to New Leaf Online" and "Hybrid Flower Breeding" events. Not sure how active I'll be for the rest, but we'll see!

Seeing the email pop up in my inbox brought back an influx of nostalgia from my time on the site. Crazy to think that it has been this long since I have been able to call myself a part of this community. Will never forget romping around with friends and causing chaos on our islands back in New Leaf; those memories will always share a special place in my heart.
