There's a reason we all come back to this forum, even when we stop playing AC. Love that there is a schedule so that I don't find myself on vacation during a TBT event like last year haha. Especially excited for Lunar New Years, Easter Egg Hunt, TBT Fair, and Mushroom Season?? Thank you staff for the amazing effort!

Staff, I can only imagine how busy this year will be for you all, between your personal lives and forum preparations. I know you want to go above and beyond to celebrate this incredibly special place, but please give yourselves time to relax and recuperate as well! Don’t push yourselves too hard. You help make TBT as incredible as it is just as much as the community and the events do, and you deserve to feel like your best, rested selves. Thank you for all that you’ve done and given to us over the years, but please don’t stress yourselves out too badly in the process!
Don't worry about us! We've such a big team now that we can split up the responsibilities in a way that allows us to take breaks where we need to. e.g. I'll be in Greece in October so I won't be working on our Halloween 2024 event, but I doubt anyone will even realise I'm gone!

I’m so excited for all the events! I missed my first fair by not even a month, so I can’t wait to finally participate in one! Also, congrats on 20 years, TBT! Who would’ve thought a gaming forum would make it around this long?

happy 20 years tbt!! came for new leaf trading, stayed because of the good vibes and people.

lunar new year event starts tomorrow! I really wish i got a different animal (my chinese zodiac is the Ox), so it'll be interesting to see all the Year of the Dragon memorabilia around the forum! (will we get a Spyro collectible? I do not know.)

Thank you for the schedule, it's much appreciated! I've missed several events over the last few years due to being too busy to check TBT, but now I can be prepared!

Very excited for the return of hybrid flower breeding as that was always fun. Hoping to breed some new pink tulips because those are my favourite.

Birthday-themed fair = new balloon collectibles?? 👀

if I was even slightly less sleep deprived I'd have to brain capacity to give a full reaction to everything i just read but since i'm not all i can say is wow!! what a lineup of events, staff really know how to spoil us. i cannot WAIT to see everything we have in store for us this year !!

Will the amazing work over Dongers420 be in the artbook? Why am I plagued with ancient memories like this?

Cannot believe forum's been around for 20 years. Cannot believe that the most recent AC game was City Folk and I was still playing Wild World when I joined. I still remember the IRC days! #BringBackMafiaTBTBot

Imagine stopping playing AC could not be me.

Now that I think about it, this site has been around to see every Animal Crossing game, and see the release of every game since Wild World. This really is an impressive feat.

Including the greatest game of all, Amiibo Festival.

Incredible how a gaming forum has lasted 20 years. Glad to be apart of it for nearly half of it
🥳

Right? You hear all about how forums are dying these days but no, here's TBT still kicking. And also, as you mention, nearly half of it? Jesus christ I'm old.

It’s funny how so many people think forums are dead in general due to modern social media. The Bell Tree however will live on forever it seems and I’m totally here for it.

Only a fraction of my time on here has been during playing Animal Crossing. I just love the community here and how the mods and users are so involved with fun events that it keeps me coming back.

Stay awesome TBT and I look forward to celebrating 20 years with everyone here.

Right? I post on Reddit a lot, but the AC community there seems more interested in showing off pictures than discussing.

I was literally 3 years old when the forum was created

me right now.

What an absolutely incredible event lineup! Can't believe we're getting another event TOMORROW. Echoing what others have said: being able to see the whole year's schedule at once feels amazing and will help me be prepared for what's next.

Can't wait to see where the art book goes. I personally would like to see a lot of different users represented, not just event winners (though obviously event winners as well). The community participation really makes the events for me.

Looking forward to another year of TBT! Can't believe my own 10-year anniversary on the site is in 2024 as well. It's definitely the events that keep me coming back month after month even when I'm taking a break from AC itself.

(I'm also continually grateful that the Fair takes place mostly in August--my job involves putting together children's programs at a library, so I have zero free time in June and July. August is a down month as kids return to school, so I will have much more in the way of mental and physical resources with which to participate.)

There are some members of this forum that are older than the entire internet. In fact, some are older than the gaming industry as a whole.
Well now I feel nonexistent lol. (also i wanna join tbt discord for WC purposes but I don't know what'll happen if I use my already existing discord account instead of my tbt account)

Looks like a fun year ahead! I'm really curious to see what the Lunar New Year event will be, and it's so soon! The NL online farewell event will probably be cute, might have to dust off my 3DS for it. The Easter event is always one of my favorites, even if it does make me want to tear my hair out at times. I love trying to solve the clues. I kind of missed last years April Fool's event for the most part, so hopefully I'll be here this year to see what's hiding behind that "hmmm..." This will be my first time here for a flower breeding event, so that should be fun!

The return of the TBT World Championships is exciting! I really enjoyed that event the last time it happened, and I was lucky enough to be on the winning team then. Will I be a two-time champ? Unlikely, but I'll try my best for whatever team I end up on! Celebrating Diversity is always fun, even if I'm not the most artistically inclined person. It's fun to see what everyone else creates and what type(s) of diversity they choose to convey in their work. And the Bell Tree Fair! I said the Easter event is one of my favorites, but the fair probably takes the top spot for me. I love the variety of activities to participate in, and the fair always has my favorite collectibles along with the camp collectibles.

I don't know what to expect from Mushroom Season, but I love mushroom stuff, so I'm excited. And if it means more mushroom collectibles, then I'll need all of those. Thank you. Halloween events are always really fun, and usually they have my second-favorite collectibles after the fair/camp. I've only been on TBT for about a fifth of the twenty years, so it'll be nice to learn more about and to celebrate the history of the site! Season of Giving events are always fun as well of course

Aside from the event stuff, I love the new reactions, and the art book seems like it will be cool! And thanks for the free bells~
