I promise you, you will find these games much easier to survive (literally as well as figuratively) if you concentrate on working *within* the box and getting the hang of the basics before you move on to trying to think *outside* of the box.

Also.. it would really help us, too. Please.

To piggyback off this question, why did you assume a framer ability would be part of the JoaT?

I thought that that would be basically the opposite of the investigative part of JoaT.

EBWOP : I didnt mean that to be rude, I'm sorry Punchy. I just think it's best, in general, to stick with the basics when in doubt.

Mafia is a game with ultimately simple Win / Cons, and it seems to me like you lose sight of that point amidst the chaos of all the unknowns during the early stages of the game.

Amanda / Gig's replacement: Any players left in the game need to absolutely put pressure on this person to post. Don't let this player coast by. At the beginning I was very much concerned that this person came in just to vote on the Antonio bandwagon. One thing that bothers me about accusing this person is that, as Dolby mentioned .. they actually didn't place a vote. Personally I am leaning mafia on this player nonetheless. They were putting, or ATTEMPTED to put, the bare minimum effort to stay alive .. as Tom was. The reason why they worry me is that they were active quietly on the thread until after Night One's post came up and then they disappeared. There were players like Katezilla who didn't even bother at all and ended up a Townie.

I'm sure I'll come back to find a bajillion pages to read and an obscene amount of drama. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to make some sense of it all then, coz rn I have nfi which way is up from down anymore. I love the flavour text for this game but the lighthouse-bomb-ghost-lovers thing has broken my brain.

This is a re-typed version of what I originally had. Somehow it got lost between the copying and pasting from my phone. :/

Why would you play the game on your own terms instead of helping us to find mafia players ? What are your own terms for which you are playing for ?

On Day One people were saying " Ryumia tends to make filler posts as Town". Here on Day Two we see her using the same excuse they handed to her. If she is mafia she may have learned to take the safety exit that players give and use it as an excuse to compensate for her potential mafia-like behaviour just as Tom tried to do. This is my weakest argument on her because it could also be the case where she genuinely doesn't know how her posts are fillery and is using the excuse given because now she believes it herself ? I don't know.

I found this post interesting because ideally one of the ways for us to catch mafia players is to force them into the spotlight to post more and more. It doesn't make sense to me why anyone as Town would want to do this in a game of trying to find mafia ? You'd rather just defend yourself if you want to ? There should be some obligation for you to defend yourself especially if you are holding a Town role. Otherwise yes, as Ness said, you do look like you have something to hide.

I want to help out in my own way not some "status quo method" to play a certain role in this game. I am not an artificial intelligence. I am an actual human being that has actual feelings and opinions. My own terms? It's like I stated before: "I want to help out in my own way not some "status quo method" to play a certain role in this game". I play cautiously when I play mafia because it can be difficult to see between the truth and the lies. I don't play like everyone else in the game and only just playing like myself. That's all.

Right now... I am not sure if I should have wholeheartedly trust Ness, but I want to believe that he and I share the same objective in this game because I feel like I have nobody else to turn to when it comes to a sense of trust. If I feel like I have nobody else to turn to in terms like that then how am I suppose to help catch these mafia players when I am so busy getting distracted by "defending" myself here? That's why I didn't want to "defend" myself anymore because that will make me be incapable to help out because I am so focus on '"defending" myself and not helping the team find mafia. 'Cause that stuff happened to me in my first game. All the people I trusted in that game all died and there wasn't anything I could do about it. Chick got killed on night one in that game and Tom got day lynch on Day 2 by Jacob (King status). I felt so lost in that game when they all died and felt like I probably should just give up.

I don't understand why I should feel this "obligation" a lot of the time. 'Cause I don't see the point in doing that when I don't feel sure about who to trust in mafia. I only feel this "obligation" due to Ness and that's basically it. If he is gone in this game then that would most likely be it or something. It really just depends if I had to be honest about it. Ness is the reason why I am working as hard as I can with what limited skills I have to bother to even try to feel the "obligation" that has been told to me.

It was already troubling for me when I found out that Tom was mafia and not for town. I really wanted to believe that Tom was for the town and not mafia. I was only playing this game in hopes that me and Tom would share that same objective for town, but in the end I realize that we don't and moved forward from there. I don't see a problem with wanting a sense of choice while playing mafia.

[Note: Not taking this personally just as an FYI. Merely stating my point of view when it comes to this matter. I feel like I kind of make the game a bit harder since my perspective of the game seem so vast. At least... in my opinion.]

So in conclusion of the argument of Ryumia not being on the same team as Evan, I would say I stand here:

Ryumia > Evan for likelihood of being mafia.

If you really think that me and Evan are not a team then let's put it to the test and find out the truth. What is keeping others back from testing this out? I did wanted to vote myself to determine that theory that I was given to me by Dolby. Like I stated before I willing to risk everything to win the game because you are supposed to play to win after all. I wanted to put this theory into the test by voting for myself. But... As much as I want to vote for myself... I won't do so. For one simple reason... I chose to trust Ness so wholeheartedly in the game more than any other player here. That's why I voted for Evan and not myself in this game.

Hey, I?m leaving for Iceland in a few hours. Still think that Vanessa/Glow is def viable. I def think that all three of my D2 suspects (Tom, Locket/Vanessa, and Glow) could easily be scum, but I definetely want to look into Dad more, that?s reads list was honestly just bad. I also feel that Jacob is being townread WAY to easily by pretty much everybody at this point

Also, again, Punchy’s distrust of Rune should be REALLY Revealing that Rune is misguided town defending scum. This exact relationship happened with Evan/Glow in FNAF and Trundle/Panda in SU2. Why is Punchy distancing from this? To frame Rune as he’s pretending to distance from a hypothetical teammate trying to hard to save him
