First of all, I’d like to say that everyone’s entries are very entertaining to read; they’re all so lovely!

As for my entry, I was heavily inspired by The Melon Baller’s winning flag (designed by none other than @Rosch)! I’ve decided to parody AURORA’s Exist For Love. Here it is:

Oh god... I'm terrible at rhyming... Should this song be a "full song" length, or could it be like an "anime opening" length? I have a general idea for a parody type of song, but I really need to confirm this. Otherwise I don't really know what to do here >~<'

Well, here's my entry. This was an absolute parade of mishaps, including losing a guitar and breaking the second string of a violin that only had two to begin with, but anyway, it's as done as it'll get now. This was supposed to have two more verses and also me singing the lyrics, but I accidentally closed FL Studio halfway through making the full version and didn't want to restart(The trial version of FL Studio is fully functional but doesn't let you load saved projects after you close them), so you all just get the short version I exported as a safety measure after finishing the first verse. It needs a little polishing but since I can't edit it I'm allowing myself to be satisfied with it as is.

I loved the idea of trying to combine a campfire song with another big campfire thing, telling ghost stories, and the original plan was for the next two verses to also be about getting lost in different areas of the camp(a cave and a lake) and unexpectedly saved by monsters or cryptids or whatever. I also like the idea of a campfire song that's mostly calmly plucking at guitar strings but has an unexpected intense bit in the middle that's probably annoying to play and, in combination with the quickly repeating lyrics, is supposed to be like the moment when near the end of telling a scary story you just yell "boo!" to break the tension and make everyone jump.

...Also the version of the chorus at the end would've originally been at the end of a like five minute song so it'd've been less abrupt of a difference from the first one but whatever

I'm not good with rhyming and my English is quite limited, so in this parody I mostly tried to change the Japanese lyrics to something that at least makes sense and keep the tempo of the original song, Great Days which plays in the third opening of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Okay this is embarrassing...
