I guess 390 or something - only like 60-65 off! Not too shabby.

I went through a stupid amount of math to do it.

First I went google hunting for the jar you bought. None of the listing had the measurements other than in quartz litres and at that point I realised I didn’t even need it lol.
Then it was size proportionate volume calculations, ratios and guesstimations. I think I under-anticipated the number of large marshmallows or the volume of empty space.

My gut told me my number was too high - should have run with it... it was fun to try doing the math though! Never done that approach before hahaha

For me, I counted one side of the jar and I think I got about 60 for one side of the jar (just what was visible). I then added 20 to that number to account for smaller marshmallows (so 80). Then I multiplied that number by 4 (for four sides!) and got 320, which was my guess. ^^;

Went with a pretty low number because I thought "Hey, maybe the middle/other two sides are full of big marshmallows for padding to make the illusion that there's more than that inside". My guess was 156; I should have thought about it some more though. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

I'm fairly confident in saying those of you who went looking for the jar are going to come up empty-handed! I've had it for ~15 years and highly doubt it's still sold in stores or online.

Fun fact for those of you who joined us somewhat recently - the magic voodoo jar has been making appearances in this event since our 2016 Bell Tree Fair. Unfortunately it won't be back again this time, but I have something extra special in store for all of you for the September 2nd bottle! Got a brand new jar and everything!

For me, I counted one side of the jar and I think I got about 60 for one side of the jar (just what was visible). I then added 20 to that number to account for smaller marshmallows (so 80). Then I multiplied that number by 4 (for four sides!) and got 320, which was my guess. ^^;

I found that the person who literally counted a bunch of “rows” of marshmallows (regardless of size) and then averaged them to find an average of 6 marshmallows on the width and 9 on the length - 6x6x9 is 324 - which is astonishingly accurate. I even double checked the averages myself and found a similar result! Wish I’d taken a simpler route
