I've always been curious about whether or not people wear uniforms to school. I live in the UK and I've worn uniform all my life but i know it's not the same in like different countries.

I was wondering if you don't wear a uniform, where in the world do you live and what kind of school did you go to?

the only time i wore a uniform was when i attended this one school for kindergarten and first grade. i'm pretty sure it was public, but yeah we had uniforms. i then moved and never had to wear a uniform for any of my schools again. i live in california and i've always attended public schools.

I've never had to worn a uniform, public schools all my life! Oh Also, I live in Massachusetts, in the US.

yes, all schools in aus make u wear uniform. many ppl dislike but personally I'm happy with it so I don't have to stress over what clothes I'm gonna wear and whatnot

i've never had to wear a uniform for school

i've lived in canada all my life, and i've only gone to public schools

The elementary school and middle school I went to had uniforms and the high school I went to didn't have uniforms until my senior year.

Oh yes, I kind of really hated uniforms. Wanting to wear whatever I wanted to sounded like a dream. Though now that I'm out of school I think having uniforms is way better than not having them. Gives you a sense of unity and organization, everyone looks the same.

I only had to wear uniforms during 6th and 7th grade. I honestly prefer wearing uniforms, makes getting ready easier.

I agree w/ most of these i like not having the stress of what to wear and now i'm going into sixth form, the only set uniform is black trousers and a blazer but i can wear any blouse i want so it gives me more freedom which is nice :) I don't think I would have minded not having a uniform in school but it did make me look more smart :p

No we don't use it here afaik...

Tbh I wouldn't have minded, would save everyone this fashion crap when it comes to school.

I had to wear a uniform in primary school and secondary school. Sixth form was a bit different in that we had to just wear "business attire". Although, my sixth from was still ridiculously strict and made us wear white shirts, black blazers, skirts, etc. Other sixth forms are a bit more lenient and will let girls wear whatever they want provided it's smart. Boys don't really get away with it though since they have to wear suits. But yay I don't have to wear a uniform anymore so thank goodness for that. My sixth form uniform was always so uncomfortable.

Nope and thank god. Never had to all my life. One time I almost had to cause my parents were gonna send me to an all girl catholic school, ew.

Yeah in high school we wore these black polo tops with the school emblem and black/khaki pants. After gym I'd always change to regular clothes and black jeans because some teachers don't enforce the uniform at the end of the day.

When I lived in Singapore & the Philippines I went to private schools and we wore uniform, then I moved to the States and went to public schools and up until 6th grade I continued to wear uniform but then I moved to a different city and I haven't worn a uniform since
