Do you collect anything?

I collect stickers! They are kind of my favorite things of all time. There are some that I've had since I was a little kid. My grandma loved them too, so it's a nice memory of her. 💕

I have a lot of collections! I have all the Animal Crossing amiibo cards, I collect action figures (I've stopped though because of covid which took cut my earnings by a lot, and because I've run out of room to place them), colouring books, coloured pencils/supplies, books, games, etc.

I don't collect stuff for myself much anymore. Used to buy Nendoroids when ones I absolutely loved came along, but even then I wasn't that obsessive (have now sold all my nendos except my Zelda ones)

Now I collect pine cones for my 2 year old nephew because he is obsessed with them.

In the past I've collected numerous things, but it often reaches a point where either I realise it no longer brings me joy or the manufacturer has started to get a bit too money hungry and amped up the rate of releases to a point where I can no longer financially justify it. The latter applies to the most recent thing I enjoyed collecting.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I'm also trying to build up a good collection/library of books on my Kindle. I live in a apartment so owning tons of physical books isn't really an option, I used to own over a hundred physical books but I gave them all away when I moved because I didn't feel like bringing them with me. I regret that sometimes but oh well, at least other people can enjoy them. If I really love the book and it's special to me I'll buy a physical copy but I have to be mindful of space. I love reading.

Idk if this is considered a collecting but I'm trying to build up my iTunes collection. I love music, I have over 1,000 songs on my iPod but I'm just getting started. I can see myself having tens of thousands of songs in the future. That's another fun thing for me to collect because it takes up no physical space so I don't have to worry about cluttering up my apartment.

I used to have a funko pop collection but gave some of them away, I still have some and have thought of getting more but again, space is an issue and those can add up quick. I do collect videogames as well, it used to be mostly physical but I'm starting to lean towards getting mostly digital with the exception of certain games like animal crossing, Pokemon, and Story of seasons games because they're special to me and I like having a physical copy. But yeah, I have a huge list of games I want to get and play across several platforms. PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, gameboy. I have a big backlog I need to work on first before I buy any more though.

One thing I really want to start collecting is enamel pins, there's so many cute ones and they don't take up too much space.

I can definitely relate to the no more joy thing, or just... why did I start collecting this I've never even touched whatever it is or something.

And I can relate to game collecting as well, used to have a nice bunch on Ninty retro consoles, both tv and handheld stuff but then again, hoarding issues I didn't need em lol.

I collect Mari Ohara figurines (or just anything Mari... keychains, plushies, etc)
but I kinda grew out of the school-idol phase, so I just collect anything Demon Slayer. Specifically Zenitsu. I have two figurines of him, a plushie, his Tamagotchi, and a Zenitsu shirt ^^
I guess I can say the same for Pompompurin merch. I have a mug, a pillow-case, a blanket, a lanyard, a mask, some socks, stickers, memo-pads, a folder, and I'd really like a plushie of him at some point ;w;

I used to collect Snapple bottle caps because they had fun-facts on the bottom (not sure if they still do or not), and I used to collect pennies!

I have this really old coin collection from when I was a little girl. I don’t actively collect anymore, but I still have the collection. I feel like it might be worth something if I pawn it, but I don’t really know. It’s cool though. Sometimes I re-organize it.

I actually collect a lot of things like coins, flags, soda bottles, merchandise, and video games. My coin collection is definitely my biggest since I've been collecting them for over eight years at this point. I don't really have a lot of physical video games but I'm trying to build up a good library of them with the consoles that I have right now.

Currently, I’m collecting the animal crossing amiibo cards. I have collected some of the amiibo figures mostly animal crossing and some fire emblem (kicking myself for never getting ike); still want joker as a P5 fan. I also have started an anime figure collection: I have three Fate characters Kiritsugu (2) and Saber (Fate Go without armor), anniversary zoro, child mihawk, mihawk/zoro, child luffy/shanks. I used to collect beanie babies; have over 200 or more of them. I used to collect Mtg cards (have been tempted to collect again but not going to; spent way too much money and back then none of my friends played :/). Then I “collect” (with purposes of rewatching) anime dvds; same goes with manga.I like having physical copies of stuff better than digital.

i collect quite a few things (mostly sets of toys)!

☀ toys in general
☀lol surprise dolls
☀cutie tooties
☀sparkly critters
☀world's smallest toys
☀solar powered dancers (like the bobbing flowers and stuff)
☀mary moo moo figurines
☀odd things i find outside (aka trash, no like i've found a rubber peace tag, a croc button, other stuff)
☀foreign coins and arcade tokens (my prized possession is a token from billy bob's pizza circus my grandpa found me!)
☀pokemon cards (more of a recent obsession)

i do, actually! this might seem a bit odd but i’ve been collecting phone cases for the past few years; even though i can only use one at a time, there’s just too many good ones out there to pass up 😅. i’d also like to get into collecting amiibo cards, tokidoki figurines and other lil gadgets but those collections are still pretty small atm aha.

When I first got my iPhone 8 Plus recently, my sister gave me a few cases, then I bought like 5 online in a major impulse purchase. Couldn't stop myself, there's so many good ones :D

....I am a bit of a lipstick and skincare product collector/hoarder. besides that, Amibo cards, Plushies, and tea lol

When I was in school I was an avid collector of stationaries (ex: cute pen, color pencils, notebooks, stationary papers ..etc); now not so much since I don't really use them day to day anymore.

I collect quite a few things— I’m a sucker for anything cute and tiny. Currently, I’m collecting:

•acrylic charms. They’re these little 0.5 to 2-inch plastic charms of anime characters, cute plants, Animal Crossing villagers, etc... I’ve been a bit obsessed with them lately & have an entire bulletin board dedicated to acrylic charms.

•tiny “mini brands” food that come in those plastic balls at Walmart/Target. They’re so fun.

•dolls, mainly American Girls, & anything that can go with those dolls (like the tiny foods hehe)

In the past I’ve built up collections of washi tapes, amiibo cards, and Webkinz pets, but I consider those collections to be complete at the moment... I rarely use tapes anymore, I’ve collected all the amiibo cards, and they don’t sell Webkinz anymore at all.

Seashells! I bring them back home whenever I get to go to the beach and I have quite a few that have been given to me. I also like having physical books and records and I keep buying stuffed animals so I have some collections of those going too.

I collect vinyl records, turntables, and tube TVs! While Spotify is incredibly convenient, the raw sound from a well preserved record can’t be beat. At the moment I have five turntables! Two are for modern records, one’s for portability, one is from the 1970s, and the last one is nearly 100 years old. It’s fun to compare the sound quality of each turntable!

Collecting tube TVs on the other hand is mostly for nostalgia. My parents didn’t upgrade to a flat screen until 2011, so most of my memories watching cartoons was on our CRT. I love the vivid screens many tube TVs have. I’d argue the colors are on par with some OLED screens. My collection is pretty small though. Many tube TVs on the used market are in bad shape and I don’t have enough storage space.

I collect figures from the series of "Clannad".
