I usually write in cursive because it’s faster so it’s useful for taking lecture notes. I think non cursive handwriting looks better though

I'm going to end up in a museum.

"Here is one of the last people on earth, who is adept in the ancient art of running writing".

I was taught in in primary school and was told I would always use it but I honestly never do. I can write in cursive but not too nicely ahahaha

@jon_snow cursive isnt an ancient art that makes u superior over elementary schoolers who dont know it lmao are you a middle aged facebook mom or something

literally everyone i know uses cursive. i live in europe, though. cursive doesn't seem widely used in america for some reason. personally, i don't like writing in print, it's way too slow and ugly looking most of the time

I know it isn't an ancient art.

It was clearly a joke, but since you couldn't pick up on that, I'll assume you use crayons.

I'm a bloke, and I'm not middle aged.

As for Facebook.. NO.

Yeah, cursive is faster than print. I find myself mixing the two as I write sometimes. We learned it in fourth grade and had to use it all throughout school. My high school English teachers wouldn't accept any papets not written in cursive with pen. Now though it's all computers so I guess no one really need to learn cursive anymore haha. So the new question is, should we continue to teach cursive or is it just a waste of time?

i do and they still teach it at the schools here

one of my teachers forced us to re-learn it this year

I was taught to write in cursive and I still use it to this day. Somehow when I write in all caps it still becomes cursive lol.

Now I know why y'all voted for Trump.

You couldn't read the ballot paper.

Didn't they at least, have faces you could draw a circle around?

Oh, wait.. that still wouldn't explain why you still voted for that man to actually RUN your country.

m8 don't bring politics into a harmless thread xD

I don't know how to write in cursive. I was taught it years ago, but it never stuck with me. Whenever I try to write in cursive it looks hideous and illegible, so I just stick to printing.

I wasn't.
It's a joke, just like this thread HAS to be.

Cursive writing is a part of the English curriculum.

Feel free to make fun of any Aussie Prime Ministers.
I'll even help you! ^_^

Joking or not, let's stay on topic, shall we? ;)

Cursive was one of the first things I was taught in elementary school, and I love it actually. I had to stop during middle school though, since I had to take a lot of notes and cursive killed my hand haha.
