That's not accurate. I don't know of any country songs about Jesus driving a truck to see a girl.

I like old country music Johnny Cash era and earlier, but not the new stuff. Unfortunately for me I live in the South so I have to listen to it all the time... ;^;

lullabies are nice when you need them... they're alt-country, but the Cowboy Junkies are perfect for falling asleep....

Not at all. I don't hate it as I'm sure a lot of country musicians work very hard on their music, but it's just not for me.

If COTTON EYE JOE counts as country then that's the closest.

I ADORE country music. I think I don't listen to it, like play it, around people who don't like it or really talk about it that often, but I definitely listen to it while I'm in Oklahoma and when I'm alone. I love Dolly as well, and a lot of the recent music too.
