Omg! I'm also located in Georgia as well and I know how you feel!!
I'm originally from California myself so definitely the whole beach, city life is what I'm more use too as well ~
I moved out here cause my bf is here and yikes do I really hate the weather, bugs, no place to really go to or hang out at ;w; really do want to move back to Cali, but the living expense over there is just ridiculous otherwise I would move back in a heartbeat..
only good thing about GA here is that it's pretty cheap and the tax too ^^;;

Nice to know I'm not the only one! xD
Oh goddd, I forgot about the bUGS!!! Roaches and spiders everywhere hhhh ;o;;;
I'm in pretty much the same situation as you tho,, FL was way too expensive and we're making so much more money in GA ..housing here is so freaking CHEAP too.
the plan is to save up over the next few years and move back asap once we're stable >:3 lolol I hope you can do that same!

Personally I chose "It?s okay. I would move, but cannot at the moment due to funds/timing." I love my parents and I'm lucky to have a well-to-do suburb to call my hometown, but I really just do not like most of the people here. I do think that it's a nice place to raise kids, but I don't intend on staying here when I'm done with school. :)

haha thank you! yea definitely want to move out to someplace a bit better if we can ~
best wishes to you as well :D

I really don't much care for it. The climate is far too warm for me and there are too many severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings. Secondly, politically... Well, I'll just say we were one of the few states in which every single flipping county voted for Trump. That's just unforgivable beyond reason. The state is also too religious for me.

Thankfully for me, my family actually has also had it with the politics (and that is saying a lot. My family - aside from me - loves the area aside from the politics) and we are looking into eventually hopefully moving to New England. I was so happy to hear that, you all have no idea.

Oh man I LOVE my new home state. I originally from California and ugh i HATED it there. The people are honestly very closeminded and me, being the Christian I am, they were very shunning... Sad to say. You'd think they were very open and loving.. unfortunately that's not the case. I moved to Oklahoma and oh man! I love it so much here. I prefer country over city anytime. And I mean, yeah every state is going to have its ups and downs, but I really enjoy it here more. It's so much more open in the sense where theres more nature. I could FINALLY see the stars!! Plus it's not summer year round ♡ I've always wanted to see snow and experience winter and so forth.. I would NEVER move back to cali, ever. My husband and I will either live in Texas or Oklahoma. But never cali..

In few years me and my family will be moving out and go live in Indiana, which I can't wait.;)

Oklahoma practically is summer all year around now, though. I understand you'll get more of a resemblance of four seasons than in California, but trust me, it's messed up. It regularly breaks into the upper 70s in the middle of winter and no one even bats an eye anymore.

I guess it depends on which part of the state you are. Well, the above doesn't (it actually gets hotter during the winter in the Western portion. I've seen it in the mid 90s in winter over there), but whether or not you'll really see snow. You might see a dusting or two a winter, but nothing major. And it all melts within five minutes. Unless you're in the central/western portion, they might get more snow. I don't know. You might think it's 'winter' but that's only because you're from somewhere that has no resemblance of a winter whatsoever. You'll get disappointed if you want an actual winter in the long run, trust me.

I guess there has to be someone who likes Oklahoma. I don't get it for one second. Lol.

I am very happy you like Oklahoma better. I am born and raised in Pennsylvania, but I honestly hated it there. I hated the extreme winter. I hated the staleness of everything. I felt like I needed a change of scenery. I loved the thought of moving somewhere new, where nobody knew who I was or anything about my past, and starting over. I love Arizona much better. I love the weather. I prefer the warmer climates over the snowy north.

California is very liberal, so you’d think they’d be open-minded. At least, the Hollywood part is very liberal. I have been in the Fresno area, and it was absolutely terrible. I will not go to Fresno ever again. I’ve never been to Texas or Oklahoma. To be honest, I’m not sure what I would think of Texas because most of the people there are against the LGBT community. I put a lot of importance on that, because I’m part of the LGBT community and want to be respected, or at least not disrespected. I know not everyone in Texas is like that, though. I’m sure it is a nice place, and so is Oklahoma.

1) Missouri
2) No lmao, but I've definitely been worse places
3) Nothing but corn and historical stuff idc about, white nationalists, have to drive forever to get to anything interesting
4) Probably yes lol
5) idk, somewhere pretty with a lot of forests and water?? Michigan is super pretty, but not a lot to do there, either

i hate this ****ing state so much i want to go back to my real home it's not fair
Dang. I?m not sure what state you are referring to, but I hope you are able to move somewhere and be happy with where you live one day. I hated my home state so much. I wanted to get out of there so badly. I was happy when I finally did.

1. I live in Melbourne (Australia).
2. Yes, because it’s a diverse city... I meet at least 5 different people whenever I go to work, haha. The city lights look good at night, to be honest.
3. I do like Melbourne, but the only bad things about living here is that it’s noisy in the city ofc and it’s CrOwDeD... don’t even try to get me started on the public transport (mainly trains)...
4. No, because I live here because of my job haha and I have almost all my friends and family here.
5. Well, if I were forced to move, then I’d go meet my favourite cousin in Fiji. <3 haven’t seen her in ages rip

I put it's okay. I live in Texas and generally, I would say I have enjoyed it, but it definitely gets hotter than I would like, so in the future, I wouldn't mind moving someplace cooler c: With that being said, I like the people here, I feel that they are generally friendly and courteous and care about your wellbeing (for the most part xD) So yeah :]

Where do you live? (Definitely not being creepy. Just naming the major city will do
Do you like where you live?
If not, why do you hate it, or not like it?
If you were given the chance or opportunity to move, would you move?
Where would you move to?

1. A small-ish town a couple hours from Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) but I am moving to a different town like 30 minutes from Halifax in a little over a month

2. I like it but as far as my province goes I like the location I am about to move to much better! and Halifax is very nice. But these aren't places I'd like to live forever. I plan on moving away somewhere bigger after university because I am a city person (bigger than Halifax) and also as a musician a larger populated area is very necessary in order to be successful. And country wise I love Canada!

3. Yes I would move, I'd like eventually to end up in New York though I wish it were in Canada. I'd also love to spend time in Montreal and Vancouver.

I chose the second option, but i’m half and half. I have things I like about where I live, and things i despise, of course.

1.) I live in northern california in the lake tahoe area!

2.) Half and half. I love the greenery, the forests, the nature, the fact that it’s a small cozy town on the lake. I just recently moved to the town I’m living in currently, and enjoy it much more than the town over that I was living in for three years, but it’s still half and half for me. It’s absolutely beautiful here and I don’t think I could thrive somewhere that doesn’t have forests. I’m definitely not a city person, that’s for sure.

3.) I don’t hate this town, but I’m definitely not its number 1 fan. I hate how many tourists come up here, I hate how many rich people live here and have 10 different lakeside properties that they never use (we need to eat the rich), I absolutely hate how little diversity exists up here, and how many racists, homophobes, transphobes, and/or literal nazis live in this town, i hate how everything is at an unlivable expense because it’s a tourist hot spot, and i hate how cliquey this town is, not to mention how small it is, so everybody knows e-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y and everything. Imagine a high school with endless preppy white girls who hate anybody who refuses to conform, along with their white suburban wine moms who threaten to speak to the manager, and multiply that by 500. That’s how cliquey this town is.

4.) Yes. Though as much as I dislike this town at times, it terrifies me to leave. I get scared of trying new things, and of change, even though change is healthy and positive (most times) and happens constantly.

5.) If I had the money to leave, I’d either move to:

-Beaverton, Oregon (a little town right outside of Portland) because there is the nature and greenery while also having access and accessibility in the city.
-Quebec, Canada because it’s green, lush, beautiful, accessible, and NOT part of the united states. Thank god for that.
-Anywhere in Ireland, because it’s so beautiful there and I’d love to experience everything new that Ireland has to offer.
-Anywhere in Japan. Probably closer to Kyoto, or in the outskirts of Tokyo, in a small forested town.

I'm in (northern) California and I really like it! Everyone is chill and accepting, and there's enough around here without being too busy. The only thing I ever really complain about is the heat (120?F is a standard in the summer, so right now), but even then I've gotten so used to it that I feel strange if it's been too many days without a ton of heat.
I wouldn't want to move, but if I could go anywhere I think I'd move to Hamburg, Germany. I traveled there last year and really enjoyed it. I'm not sure what specifically I liked about it, but it seemed like a great place to live. Although I don't speak any German, so that would be a problem. :lemon:

I really used to hate it and claim I?d move out when younger, but now I?d hate to move away from my family. It?s not the best place, but it?s spdcial to me.

1.) I live near Boston

2.) I hate it here

3.) It’s really ugly and the majority of the city is filled with typical New England slums (of course I live in the slums, but it’s one of the better slums in the city so that’s good.

4.) Yes, I would love to move. I can’t though because I’m 14 and I can’t move to another country on my own until I’m 18.

5.) I would want to move to Tahiti or Bali, I originally wanted to move to Tahiti but it’s too expensive. My mom would probably love if I moved to one of these places because she’d get a free hotel whenever she comes.

It?s always nice to have supportive parents. It was a struggle for me because my mom had all these doubts and the rest of my family wasn?t supportive of it at all. It?s like they expected me to live in one city my whole entire life. I just can?t do that. I needed a change of scenery. You just have to remember you don?t owe anyone an explanation for why you want to move. If you know it will make you happy, just move. It?s great to read that you have the courage and motivation to move out at eighteen, especially to another country. Good luck on the move when you do go. You?ll be in great shape at eighteen if you start saving early.
