I used to feel meh about my name, but as the years went on, and by receiving many compliments on my name, I've come to like and appreciate it. I'd share it, but because it's extremely uncommon and unique, peeps will find me with ease xD

I'm... okay with my name.. my full name is more on the feminine side and I don't like that haha. I shortened it and its now more masculine/androgynous which relates to me better I guess haha. My dad told me he wanted to name me Shawn which I would have appreciated much more than Christina haha. Chris is okay for now :p

I legally changed my name so I guess I do like it now lol. I obviously didn't like my old name or else I wouldn't have changed it :p

Neutral. I wouldn't change my name because I can't imagine going by any other one. Sometimes I wish I had a more common name so it'd be easier for people to pronounce as well as spell. But c'est la vie.

My name is Nancy but I have always gone by Nana! As a kid I never liked it because I got those awful "Nancy Pantsy" taunts and it was always embarrassing. Even now it seems really lame LOL. Since young I would just tell people to call me by Nana and it just caught on. However, growing up I've come to like my name because I really don't meet that many people with my name and lots of people have complimented me on it by now that I do like it :) I'll probably change my name on my second animal crossing file this time using my full name so I can celebrate it a bit.

Hello. My name is Madison, and I've always hated my name. I don't think it's a good or bad name, but it is so incredibly common. I feel genuine anger having this name because of how common it is. When I was in sixth grade, there were 11 Madisons in my grade alone. I hate hearing "not you, the other Madison" or "you, not the other one." Ever since I can remember I've wanted to change my name. I wanted to be called Flower when I was five. It doesn't help that my middle name is incredibly common as well. It's Nicole, which is pretty much the epitome of a female name. Even though I tried to at least go by "Maddie", people would still always call me Madison. My parents told me they were about to call me Alexandra, which I would have loved. I would love going by Alex. I think I should just find a name I like and start telling new people that's my name lmao. Anyway, do you like your name? Is your name unique or common? What is your name?

Omg my middle name is Nicole as well! I've personally had no problem with it, but no doubt that I have 3 very common names:

Tiffany Nicole Smith

I admit it would be annoying at times that I didn't have anything too unique and there'd be multiple Tiffany's or Ms. Smith's in class, but I'm glad it's not anything to bother me too much. I've grown fond of the ring of it at least?

Also, why is every character named "Tiffany" on TV evil/antagonistic or always looking for "excitement" like why lol

my name means defender of mankind

i think it's cute ^-^

I guess I'm neutral about my name. There are plenty of names that I like better, but it's been my name for so long that I can't imagine being called anything else.

One thing I don't like about my name is that it's too short and more commonly used as a nickname. I often get asked about my full name and have to tell people that is my full name. My nicknames in school were longer than my actual name, which was just awkward.

I would have preferred a longer name with more potential choices for nicknames. My favorites are names that sound really pretty and feminine in their full version but can be shortened to more masculine or androgynous nicknames...like Alexandra (Alex), Josephine (Jo), or Kristina (Kris). Ironically, when I mentioned this to my parents once, my mom said that she wanted to name me Alexandra but my dad was dead-set on giving me a short name because he hated learning to write his long name at school. I thought that was a really silly reason and I'm kind of disappointed that's what kept me from having a name I would have really loved and felt a connection with.

i don't feel like my name is... mine. i've never liked it, it's literally the most basic name out there lol. i recently found out my mom really wanted to name me brooklyn but my dad said no and... tbh i like that name so much better

I like mine! I think Bridget is kinda unique and I just like the overall sound of it, plus I get some good nicknames out of it

I'm alright with my name. It's pretty common, but some people still pronounce it wrong for some reason, lol

my name is nicole, and i like it! having a unique name has never been a priority of mine because when i tell people my name they know how it spell it, so it's pretty convenient. some people have spelled my name like "nichole," though. ._.

Yeah I love my name. It's Autumn so I think it's a pretty name. Though I used to hate it when I was younger for some reason. People misspell it a lot as well and leave off the n even though it's a season. Also dealt with a a lot of people calling me Amber instead and it's just awkward. I think it would be sad to hate your own name and I know a lot of people who do even though I think their names are nice.

My name is alright. I mean, I am pretty bummed that my name isn't pretty or cute and I feel like it's easier to mistaken me for a guy because 1. I don't make any effort to look feminine which is my fault and 2. my name is unisex so my case isn't helped. It wouldn't bug me if not for the fact that the boys at my school are really mean and pick on people for that kind of thing, so it's a bit annoying for that reason. Other than that, it's kind of annoying when I introduce myself and someone decides to joke about Ronald Reagan or something (cuz my name is Regan) and you know, it's funny the first couple of times, but I've heard it too much. I also share the name (pronunciation in particular) with the one girl from The Exorcist so that's fun ig lmao
Despite that, there are some pretty dope pros to having my name. It has some totally radical nicknames like "Rey" or "RayRay" which makes me sound 10x cooler than I actually am lmao and it generates some pretty dope social media @'s like "reyonnaise" or something lolol I also use "oregano" for my discord because my name is in it lol rip I guess you can call me a spice girl heh but yeah. I could do with a better name but I'm okay with sticking with what I have.

My name is Christina, which is 100x better than my original name at birth, so I'm happy about that. Sometimes I wish my parents named me Christine instead since that's what teachers, acquaintances, and co-workers call me once in a while. Christine also sounds better than Christina so I don't blame them.

My birth name is really bland and generic. I don't hate it, it's not bad, but it's just really boring.

Fortunately and unfortunately I consider myself transgender and if I ever actually get to transition (things like lifetime cost, politics, safety, and other things one has to sort out make me hesitant) then I have a better name in mind that I can genuinely say I like since I actually picked it.
