i prefer sweatshirts and hoodies. i’ve never been a fan of wearing jackets — when i was a kid, it was mostly because i didn’t like long sleeves, but now that i’m older and okay with long sleeves, i still don’t like jackets. even though they’re easier to get off than hoodies and sweatshirts, they feel less breathable and more restrictive to me. plus, if i want to take it off, i’ll have to carry it around with me or tie it around my waist and i don’t wanna do that lol. it’s just extra baggage for the most part, so unless the weather really calls for a jacket, i’d rather just wear a hoodie.
Between the two options, hands down hoodies (unless it's freezing months than usually both haha). Though if I'm at home, even in the winter, I prefer the good old tanktop and blanket combo, blankets are just more flexible and comfy haha.
I usually pick hoodies, since hoodies help keep the neck warm as well.
And cowlnecks over turtlenecks if I want to be a bit more presentable, but the way the cowl folds can be finicky.
I honestly can't choose. - I wear them all for different reasons.
Hoodies and sweaters/sweatshirts tend to make me REALLY warm...so I only like the wear them in the actual winter. Otherwise, I wear lighter jackets. I also have a leather vest that I wear most of the time, year round. (This keeps me from getting too warm, because there are no sleeves...but it also protects me from cold and rain, and keeps my core warm).
I'm wearing a hoodie almost every day, just taking a break when it's really hot in summer. I don't like feeling cold air on my neck and like having pockets.
