Yeah, I didn't think to mention that, but I also have long hair and that's one of the reasons I hate hoods. I never know what to do with my hair.

Do I tuck it under the back of the jacket? But that's a pain with so much hair.

Do I part it and pull it forward so it hangs in front? But I would only use a hood in the rain and that means my hair will still get wet.

And no matter what I do, the friction of the hood and moisture in the air make my hair frizz up uncomfortably around my neck.

Definitely a hoodie person, but I'm known to appreciate the occasional jacket and sweater from time to time.

Hoodies are my top, especially guy's hoodies. Women's hoodies just don't hit the same.

There's something to be said about jackets though, a nice lined waterproof windbreaker is super comfy and handy for outside.

i prefer sweatshirts and hoodies. i’ve never been a fan of wearing jackets — when i was a kid, it was mostly because i didn’t like long sleeves, but now that i’m older and okay with long sleeves, i still don’t like jackets. even though they’re easier to get off than hoodies and sweatshirts, they feel less breathable and more restrictive to me. plus, if i want to take it off, i’ll have to carry it around with me or tie it around my waist and i don’t wanna do that lol. it’s just extra baggage for the most part, so unless the weather really calls for a jacket, i’d rather just wear a hoodie.

Between the two options, hands down hoodies (unless it's freezing months than usually both haha). Though if I'm at home, even in the winter, I prefer the good old tanktop and blanket combo, blankets are just more flexible and comfy haha. 😅

I usually pick hoodies, since hoodies help keep the neck warm as well.
And cowlnecks over turtlenecks if I want to be a bit more presentable, but the way the cowl folds can be finicky.

I honestly can't choose. - I wear them all for different reasons.

Hoodies and sweaters/sweatshirts tend to make me REALLY warm...so I only like the wear them in the actual winter. Otherwise, I wear lighter jackets. I also have a leather vest that I wear most of the time, year round. (This keeps me from getting too warm, because there are no sleeves...but it also protects me from cold and rain, and keeps my core warm).

I mostly have a texture problem with jackets so I hate wearing them if it isn't too cold to wear just a hoodie/sweater.

I also prefer hoodies over sweaters because usually they're warmer and chances are sweaters don't have pockets if they don't have a hood.

In addition I also have a hoodie collection, currently it has 11 but I'm hoping to get more for Christmas.

I'm wearing a hoodie almost every day, just taking a break when it's really hot in summer. I don't like feeling cold air on my neck and like having pockets.
