i think glasses are attractive, they are a nice face accessory. maybe not all frames look great on all face shapes, but i think usually glasses add a bit. most of the time i feel more confident when im wearing my glasses (when they arent fogging up or being annoying in some other way). idk i guess i just like the look of glasses haha

I love glasses on other people but always hated wearing them. I am as blind as a bat started wearing glasses in high school as I couldn’t see the board. I was teased and hated them so got contacts at 15.

Last few years I have had very dry eyes so just got used to wearing glasses. No one to impress so doesn’t honestly matter how I look

i mean, i don’t really pay attention to whether a person looks more or less attractive when wearing glasses, but i think they’re attractive in general! i sometimes wear glasses, and while i’m not sure if they make me look more attractive to others, i like how i look in them and they even make me feel a bit more confident. :’)

When I was little (around 6 or 7), every older girl (10-14) that had braces or glasses was pretty to me. So when I had to get braces in 3rd grade, I was PSYCHED....*yes! I'm finally going to be pretty!* chimed my little self. I didn't get glasses until only a few years ago, and even then, I was really happy to be getting glasses and thought back to my old way of thinking. Now, I wear contacts, because two year olds and glasses don't mix well.

Oddly enough, they don't make or break attraction for me. My husband doesn't wear his (even though he should ) and I still find him attractive.

I think they can look really nice as long as the frames suit the wearer. I think depending on how bad your eyesight is, the lenses can really make your eyes look small under your glasses. In those cases, usually no glasses looks nicer! But I love the way a good pair of glasses frames can literally frame your eyes.

Long answer: As with any accessory (for lack of a better term), there are ways of implementing them into your aesthetic that are chic and fashionable, and there are ways that are less than fashionable. Just like some jewelry is more flattering on some people than it is others, some frames of glasses may suit one person's face and complexion in a way that it wouldn't for another. So basically, it all depends on how you use them.

Short answer: HELL YES.

Yeah!! It depends on the person but it can def make you hotter. Jeff Goldblum comes to mind. I was watching She's All That the other day and it's the quintessential 90's main character takes off her glasses and now she's suddenly hot!! movie. It was ridiculous. They were trying to say Rachel Leigh Cook wasn't an absolute knock-out because she wore glasses and artsy clothes. She was so cute, cuter than when she has her makeover, in my opinion.

As you already said, it differs from person to person. I am someone who looks so much better with glasses. I absolutely hate how I look without them. As a kid I was always hoping that I'd have bad eyesight one day and need to wear some.. well, that wish came true.
I'd prefer to have glasses without actual strength and great eyesight, not gonna lie. My fiancé for example had to wear glasses for a while and we both thought he looks much better with.. and then he removed them and we thought the opposite

Heck yeah glasses imo add a whole different layer of allure to people, but it definitely depends on several factors, such as the general facial structure, the eyes, and especially the smile. It also depends on how thin/thick the glasses are and their shape. To me, attraction is amplified moreso on women than men. I don't wear glasses, I'm glad too because I feel they would only worsen my motion sickness.

It really depends on the person.

I don't like how I look in glasses at all so I wear contacts outside. My bf thinks I look good with glasses too, he doesn't seem to have a preference (for me to wear or not wear glasses), so it's not like he thinks that I'm hotter with them either.

I do definitely think that there are some people who look great/better with glasses, but idk if I would say that I "find glasses attractive" as a statement?

I don't think it makes people more or less attractive. They're just there. Probably helps that they're so common that I've been desensitised to what people look like with or without them, the same way I wouldn't think about a T-shirt or pants making a difference to how somebody looks.

In that same vein though, I'll notice if somebody is wearing a god awful shirt or something that doesn't fit them properly. The same goes with glasses. Those absolutely huge glasses (much like the ones in the Avril Lavigne video that has been posted) look dreadful, imo. They're the equivalent of your mum buying you a coat 3 sizes too big and saying you'll grow into it, but you look a state up to that point.

And I don't think they're an accessory you should be wearing if you don't need them. It's just weird at that point.

Yeah, same. My one friend used to wear glasses even though she didn’t need them. If you don’t actually need them they can actually ruin your eyesight (unless they’re reading glasses or something) so I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s also weird, like you mentioned. Why wear glasses if you don’t need them? Looking good isn’t worth it if it’s harmful to you in some way.

I wear glasses and have done ever since I can remember. I'm fed up whenever I go to the opticians them asking 'Do you not want contact lenses?' No, no and no! Some of them will even ask 'Why not?' I shouldn't need to give a reason, I'm happy with glasses and if I want contact lenses I'll ask!
I think it depends on the person wearing them. Edward Woodward was one that sticks in my mind. He looked so handsome wearing glasses, especially in 'The Equalizer'.
