i've been vegetarian my whole life so i've never had either... but turkey seems like the more appealing of the two.

ham 100%. nobody i know can make a good turkey, theyre always dry as sand and bland as hell. however most hams come with those glazes either already on it or included as an easy pack so nobody can mess it up that way.

The only time it’s okay to eat turkey is when it’s at a fair or carnival type thing and it’s a smoked turkey leg. Outside of that turkey is TRASH. It’s not good. It’s dry and it’s boring. I also just refuse to eat dark meat when it’s turkey or chicken. It’s all just gross.

I don’t eat a lot of meat and try to avoid it, but there is two times a year I eat ham and that is Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is TOP TIER for me. A sweet brown sugar honey baked ham with all the juice oh my gosh it’s CHEFS KISS!

I can’t believe how many people are eating turkey…. like what? have you never had ham???? i don’t see how there’s a contest between the two. Turkey is just so bland and boring. I also don’t believe the people who say “you’re just not cooking it right.” I’ve had it fried, grilled, baked, and slow cooked. They were all trash. Every time I’ve had it, i’ve hated it.These results have shocked me…

editing to add: this is obviously very sarcastic. i don’t care what you eat lol nobody cares what you eat. eat what you want!

Ham and most pork products are unpleasant to me so I voted for turkey. It's too salty and the texture is weird. Poultry is nice and safe to me.

Just because you don't like Turkey doesn't mean it isn't any good (or that others can't enjoy it).

lol chill i wasn’t being serious. I don’t think it’s good and i still don’t get why people do like it, but i don’t care if people like it.

it’s not that deep lol

There's nothing wrong with preferring ham over turkey, it's just that your comment came off as being incredibly condescending.

I don’t really like either, but I slightly prefer turkey, if I had to choose. Apparently I had commented on this a few years ago, and my opinion has definitely changed.

I don't eat either, but I do love tofurkey slices on sandwiches! ...That's the closest thing to either option that I eat. 😅

I don’t eat pork, so I voted for turkey. I don’t like turkey except for this turkey pepperoni that I love.

Glad to see turkey taking a small victory here, this is a highly debated topic in my family come any holiday or large gathering and I am very much team turkey!!

Ham is okay but 1) doesn't feel like "special occasion" food to me the way that turkey does and 2) turkey means stuffing which is my ultimate favourite!

Turkey, if I had to choose. My stomach is highly sensitive and meat that comes from pig makes me feel nauseous. I'm not from America so for holidays I usually eat churrasco since cow meat is more prominent.

ham, i used to like turkey more but now that i think about it, turkey doesn't really have a flavor. i used to hate ham but i like it more now, it has more flavor imo. i'd rather have turkey for thanksgiving though because it feels special and exclusive to that occasion, and i'd rather have ham for christmas because that's what my family does anyway.
