Have you ever angered a villager?

Weird to ask, but I accedently pushed one of mine, by a glitch of my character walking on his own

I came back, and found one really annoyed because I pushed him. already feel bad. Hopefully no friendship is lost. I apologized right after

So it got me thinking, since I sometimes see things on youtube or such of pushing villagers, all that. Curious if anyone else has accedently gotten them mad, or purposely mad. Im not judging,

Have you hit them with a net? Played with a pitfall seed? Just curious. Also if you feel bad, or enjoy doing it? Ive had a pitfall seed from my jock, but haven't used it

yup. not on purpose. there was one time i accidentally pushed punchy since the space he was standing and where i wanted to go was very narrow. i restarted cuz i felt bad . A few times recently Reneigh stepped in some pitfall seeds I had planted for @NefariousKing, one time was maybe prom and the other time was lol, yesterday. Merry also stepped in one of my pitfall seeds too (that may have been prom if it wasn’t Reneigh). I am afraid to know if I lost friendship with Reneigh. I am hoping not since I want to get her picture soon (already bought one but want one that I earned ).

My original pair of Joy-cons also had the drift problem, so I think I have accidently pissed off a villager that way too. Went to go grab something and came back to one of my villagers yelling at me. There's not too much harm in it though, friendship points go down, but only a tiny bit. It's really easy for them to forgive you.

I've also annoyed some a few times by bothering them so many times in a row, but I don't think that affects their friendship. Just conversational burnout, which is understandable haha.

Oh yes.

I was trying to get past Claudia on a narrow path. I waited and waited and she apparently was content to stay in that spot.

I couldn’t go backwards because it was a small cliff jump. So, I pushed her along the path until I could get by.

OMG. She screamed at me in capital letters to stop pushing her immediately.

After that, I avoided her like the plague.

I was never so happy when she announced she was moving.

Yes... When Tangy first got to my island, I wanted to gift her something I thought would look really cute on her (I honestly don't remember what it was). So I started talking to her non-stop until she finally yelled at me to stop talking to her and walked off with the angery bubble over her head...

I felt kind of bad and left her alone for a while before I talked to her again.

A lot of them like to linger on my ramps or near my house's entrance area. So, I just shove them outta the way. I don't have time to gently push them or maneuver around them.

When I had Stu living on my island, I kept accidentally bonking him with my bug net. Then he cried and I kept bothering him so he could forgive me. After he stopped being a baby, I gave him his gift and in return I got his picture. That was the most wackiest situation.

When I did see him, I just kept pushing him a little further so we'd be in an open space and he turned around, his face went red, and steam came out his ears and he was angry with me.

I said sorry, he accepted, life went on. Still makes me sad that I upset him!

Yes, Sprinkles got in the way of my terraforming and I was trying to push her out of the way. Luckily she's no longer on my island

Most times on purpose with a net or pushing them. If I'm terraforming and they get in the way or sit down where I'm working or a narrow path, then they're asking for it. Imagine shopping in an aisle and someone just decides to sit in the middle and block the flow from both ways? Who does that?

You just got to nip them in the bud.

I've made villagers mad by pushing them to get out of my way or trying to get them to stand up or stop fishing so I can give them their daily gift. And I hit Olaf and Nate with a net in my quest to get them to move out.

One time I made Julia upset. I think it was Julia, but I can't remember. I was running down a path that runs behind something and I didn't see her and inadvertently ended up pushing her down the entire path and she was extremely upset.

Another time, I purposefully hit and pushed Charlise because I can't stand her and was trying to get her to leave. That was before I knew that didn't work. Then she huffed and puffed and stomped all over the place.

The first time I pushed a villager and they got upset I felt really bad about it. It was someone nice too, like Marina. I'm also pretty sure Twiggy yelled at me for opening a package I was supposed to deliver.
