Earlier today I went to a playground (don?t judge me lol) and went on the zip line esque thing, little did I know there was a wasp nest IN... in the other end of the zip line. But I didn?t know, so I just went through it. At the end I got off to (I don?t remember let?s just say sit down) then I hear a bug fly by my head sorta near my ear but it was on my forehead, and then all of a sudden after swatting it away my head starts to hurt. And at the time I did t know what it was, then I ran toward my mom and my sister who were sitting on my bench and cause I didn?t know what it was and it hurt I started balling my eyes out. Then after maybe 10 minutes my sister looks it up and it was just a wasp. Now it only hurts when I touch it, but at the time it hurt real bad, bad enough that I cried OWO :(

I hate wasps and bees so much but I've never been stung whew

My brother got stung when he was 3. My cousin also got stung because he and I were poking a wasp hive? And suddenly a swarm of wasp began to chase us. Luckily I made a run for it but my cousin got stung XD

Nope, I've never been stung by either a wasp or bee. I'm rather allergic to insect and spider bites, so I don't particularly want to find out how I react to bee or wasp stings  My best bet is that I'm probably very allergic to them too lol. I've heard that they hurt really badly too, so I'm glad I haven't been stung yet.

No, I've seen my sister get a wasp stuck in her elbow though
I'm terrified of most bugs and wasps are the worst. I've heard that it's not THAT bad and you just have to deal with the pain after the most

I had a nasty spider bite (at least that's what I think it was) on my finger, blisters formed and they would grow and grow until I had to burst them before they would burst themselves. Good times

Not a sting but it's a cool story to tell while someone is eating

Thankfully, I’ve never been stung. Insects are one of my three fears in life, so I don’t like being around them. Whenever it’s really hot outside, I stay inside anyway.

Also, this thread makes me think of when I was chopping down trees in my ACNL to get rid of all of them, and got stung several times by virtual bees. xD

Yeah I've been stung by wasps a couple of times. Bees are generally more "careful" imo.

I've only been stung by a wasp and bumblebee maybe 3-4 times total when I was very young. I've accidentally stepped on honeybees a few times though while walking in my old yard. It's more itchy than painful for me, I mostly feel bad for the bee since their population is taking a hit nowadays.

I've only been stung once in my life (that I know of. My parents told me I ate a bee when I was a baby, but w/e). I was climbing up a slide and felt a sharp pain in my hand (mind you, I'm like 13 at this point), and when I realized I got stung, I like... panicked? Hah! I screamed and basically ran in circles crying. I'm not gonna lie, it's all too possible I didn't get stung, and I got one of those static shocks from my school's cheap slide.

It’s literally been like 24 hours sense the sting and it still is a little sore when I touch it :( lol

Never have but I still overall do not like the sight of wasps, bees aren't that bad to see.

I got stung in my right index finger at school cause there was a wasp on a pillow I sat on (obviously made the wasp a bit angry as it was their pillow I guess ^-^ ). My finger swelled up to about 75% more then what it normally is and it hurt pretty bad. I think putting ice on it helps because I remember putting ice on it but it still had this really bad pain to it.

I don't mind wasps or bees anymore and i can generally handle being around them (I will flee at the sight of large bees though as they freak me out).

I remember one time I was drinking some really sweet juice and had some residue on my lips after i removed the cup from them and about 3 wasps instantly were like "omg its nectar/pollen stuff (whatever it's called) that we can totally collect!!!" And started buzzing and landing on my lips. I stayed super calm and managed to sit still and they flew away momentarily after being sorely disappointed in realizing they couldn't extract juice. It makes me worry to think what would happen if you got stung on the lips though, it would be like you had botox gone wrong.

(This story is kind of funny I guess, but it was horrifying to me...)

Once in PRE-K my class was outside doing some game, and I was just on the sidelines sitting in a flower field, picking the flowers and tearing them apart, when a wild bee suddenly appeared, and probably got triggered from all the flowers I was killing, and stung me on my hand.
I probably thought it was a wasp, so I jumped up and screamed, and ran all the way to my teacher, and basically tackled her while sobbing.

The wording you used in your story made my day, thank you ^-^

I imagined the pokemon battle theme as a bee appeared that transitioned into the triggered meme noise, followed by you spear tackling your teacher :D

I was in my school gym and for some reason, a bee was in there. While me and the whole class were doing warmups, I got stung by it on my index finger. From my experience, it hurts and still does even after being stung by it. Now don't ask me how a bee got into a school gym because I don't know!

Ive gotten stung by wasps a couple times, and honestly it wasn't super painful, more like a burning sensation. (Except the moment you get stung, that hurts).

Never been stung by bees, in my eyes they are kind creatures like the bumblebees, just the opposite of wasps who are ready to sting at any moment ahah
