Well, I'm doing Algebra 1 this year; not that it's for ninth grade, while I'm in eighth (I don't mean to brag). By this rate, I'll be doing pre-calculus in Grade 10...

i have algebra 2 this year too(i start thursday though)...and i had block scheduling in 7th grade, it was great, wish they did it more often.

i have algebra 2 this year too(i start thursday though)...and i had block scheduling in 7th grade, it was great, wish they did it more often.

Yeah, my entire school does it, and as far as I know the High School does it too. So more or less, I think the entire district, with the exception of the elementary schools, does it. And, it's good. Only 4 classes a day, each being 90 minutes a class, except for our lunch blocks.

Oh, no. It's not a gift we got. The District board does this, I think. As far as I know, it's supposed to be this way.

not federal, around here hardly any schools have it...only half of our grade did 'blocks' in 7th grade, and never done it any other year.
