Do you usually celebrate with your family? Do you go into town with friends? Maybe with both family and friends? I'm sure there are many other different ways to celebrate! Share the way you're going to blast into the new year :)

I'm celebrating with my family this year, and though I guess some of the people here aren't *technically* family, we sure count them as it. The last couple year I celebrated with just friends, and it's definitely a whole different experience!

My family would always have a dinner and watch the ball drop.
I don't think my in-laws celebrate it at all, or at least they didn't last year.

I myself was going to maybe make a dinner, but then it didn't really work out schedule-wise. :(
It would be fun to do something down the line.

I play Mario kart with my sister until like 11:30 and then play animal crossing until midnight. Then I go to bed

Will spend it with my family. We don't really make a big deal out of it, but we do go out to watch the fireworks with our neighbours. So tonight will be spent playing cards, baking & relaxing.
I was invited to a party with my friends tho, but tonight I'm like naah I want to enter 2019 without a hangover, haha.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE <3

My family usually goes over to my grandma's house (she's usually the hostess for most holidays) and has some dinner together, laughing and visiting. My grandpa usually goes to bed way before the countdown so we just talk in the living room and watch the performances on TV (I freaked out b/c BTS performed last year lmao). We all do the countdown as quite as possible when it comes and we go around hugging each other. We usually end up spending the night to stay safe from drunk drivers.

This year, however, my family is meeting up with another family we're friends with at a hotel, where we will stay overnight. We're gonna eat and swim and have a good time. I will miss being with my grandma this year, but it's something different!

Not much to be honest. Probably have dinner with my family and watch the ball drop on TV. In past years we would hold giant New Year’s Eve parties with upwards of 50+ people, but it became too hectic so now we just celebrate it with each other. :)

Happy New Years, TBT!

It's different every year. On new years eve in 2015 I was drawing, in 2016 I was just watching tv, in 2017 I was at my grandma's house (because of my broken patella) and this year I'm gonna be playing AC: City Folk!

Like every year, I stay at home and celebrate with my family. We don't do that much.
This year, they show some pretty cool live shows of various musicians on TV, which
we're watching.

I don't really celebrate New Years. My husband and I just stay home and relax and do whatever we would normally do, which is usually playing video games. If we happen to notice that it's midnight, we'll say Happy New Year and kiss, but a lot of times it passes without us even noticing. The past two years I have made sure to celebrate with my villagers in Animal Crossing, though.

Until recent years I didn't celebrate it at all to be honest. I would occasionally stay up til midnight with my family watching the countdown on the TV and that was about it. The last couple years I've had a bunch of friends over for drinks, Mario Party, Smash and other games, dancing and letting off fireworks :)

My bf and I were sitting around ready to celebrate but we fell asleep like just before midnight hit. We usually play Animal Crossing but because of daylight saving, we'd have to be up at 1am and we just cbf.

This year was a bit of a mess, but normally I celebrate with friends all day & night.

me and my friends usually all facetime each other for new years and then play a bunch of games

I'm not a partygoer, so I always stay in and look after the kids in my family whose parents want a night out.

When I was a kid I used to stay up until midnight and watch the ball drop, but the older I get the less I feel like doing that. I went to bed before midnight last night.

Other than that, I spent time with my family and baked an apple pie. My parents are both at work today, so I’m kind of alone haha.

I don't see New Year's as different from any other day. Sure, the year number changed. But that doesn't really mean too much.

I always stay at home with my family to do lots of cooking. A LOT. Like, no matter how early I get started on cooking, we always finish a couple of hours before the clock strikes midnight. At least then it will last around a couple of weeks before cooking up fresh foods again.

I don't know how people are able to brave the cold for hours and stand for a long time. Kudos to them! And I hope everyone is having a happy new year right now, whether you're busy with family or just chilling around. :)
