i say zed, my postcode has JZ on it and whenever i say it aloud i try and avoid saying jay z's name and now it's habit

I was brought up to say "zee". My friend in the UK (AdvLAMP) says "zed" and I haven't encountered it much before him. He even says zeh-bra (for zebra) which is awesome.

i also say zeh-bra cause it's most similar to swedish as well and sounds more logical lmao

wtf is a zee-bra.. a bra brand named zee?

'zee' but 'zed' sounds pretty dang cool, lol.

Quick question for zed people, do y’all ignore the fact the ABC song doesn’t rhyme at the end ?

I was taught to say zed when I started off in a british schooling system. But after I went to an american schooling system I started saying zee. So I guess it's an American thing.

No no past this. The “now I know my ABC’s/next time won’t you sing with me”

Oh, I know, I just think it sounds terrible overall, haha. I'm curious too, though. Maybe they don't sing that part or say something differently? Looking forward to figuring it out, this is weirdly fascinating.
