My hair is over two feet long and mostly flat, so for the last few years I've been wearing it in either braids or a ponytail. But I've been needing to go to a beautician/barber for a while, and I think I'm gonna start wearing it parted on the side again, with layers. That's how it used to be, years ago. I feel like it's more manageable and stylish that way.
How do you guys wear your hair? Just out of general curiosity
I have long, straight hair and I always wear it down with a side part. I have a lot of hair but the individual strands are really fine, so it falls out of any clips or hair ties. There's not much I can do with it.
When I'm working on the yard or something, I'll pull it back in a low ponytail to keep it out of my face, but that only holds up for about an hour or so.
Part of my hair is already shaved off, so the other part is short and just there. It has a little bit of layers to add more dimension to it. I could actually pull it back into a manageable but short ponytail. It looks a little weird since not all of my hair goes in it, I have some sticking out.
Mine's down almost all of the time, though I'll occasionally braid it to the side or try my best to manage a ponytail when I'm working out. My hair is down to my thighs so it's really heavy to wear up with the bulk concentrated in one small area for any length of time.
I cut my hair really short a couple months ago so I can't do anything with it haha (I loooove having it short though, no regrets!) It's layered and I keep the front strand pinned back (I bought a whole bunch of rainbow hairclips when I realized that's how the cut ended up!) since having hair in my face annoys me.
My hair length is just above my shoulders and wavy (permed). Now that the perm is a bit flatter, I usually tie the top part of my hair up into a bun and the rest down so it covers my neck. Usually my hair would be much shorter though, I've just had no time to get it done.
Mine is basically being "spiky" and standing in all directions now unless I fix it, so usually for work I keep a hairband, like all those that all popular now(not a rosie the riveter but more like a band-sarf thing) so it look presentable.
As ya kno i buzzed it a bit over 3 months ago so yeah now it's getting to that awkward stage when all the diff sections are different lengths on the head aha
I've started backcombing it again, it's a little too short to do those big spikes but it still gets the point across I'm growing it out though so I'm glad I'm not at an awkward length yet
I never do anything to my hair, except if I go to Restaurant with my boyfriend.. then I will curl them a bit.
But with my short hair I can't do too much anyways and I only really care about the color of my hair. :x
For many years I have always worn my hair down and never and I mean never really done anything with it. I don't dye it, or curl it, or blow dry it, I literally do absolutely nothing with my hair. Due to this, it's nice and thick and very healthy. I have a few strands of broken hair, but it's because I've been messing with it for the last year. It's about medium length right now.
Other than that, I've been trying to decide whether or not to grow my bangs out. I've finally decided to grow them out. After thinking about it, the real reason I've had so much trouble deciding, is because I'm scared to get out of my comfort zone with my bangs. I've had them for so long, about eight years. Anyway, in a couple months, I'll be pulling up my bangs with a clip so they can grow out. That will be pretty much all I will do with my hair for the moment.
Depending on the occassion; ponytail, bun or just down. My hair is naturally wavy and I love how it looks without further styling, but I usually have it up when I'm working or chilling at home. I just like to have it out of the way without committing to a short hairstyle that requires more attention.
Down unless I'm hot or doing something physically active. I'm too lazy to bother. That said, I have naturally wavy hair so I straighten the front few pieces to avoid the cowlick waves.
