How long or short is your hair?

I've run the gamut with it though. I've buzzed it in the past but I've also grown it to shoulder length.

My hair goes to my chin when it's wet, but right now it rests just below my ears ^^ I've gotten comments on how it makes me look like a boy and a lesbian (?) Ok.... (1)If it makes me look like a boy, how can I also look like a lesbian? (2)Is lesbian an insult now? (3)What do "lesbians" look like? Do they all look exactly like me? Can you really generalize like that and still be taken seriously?
