I'll probably revisit my new leaf towns... however, I want to be a part of all the fresh new online play that the new game brings. I'll go back to new leaf to finish off things and for the nostalgia.
I have already sort of abandoned New Leaf a while ago. I haven't really played with my 3DS since I've moved onto playing games on my Switch and other consoles.
I played countless hours of New Leaf, and I think I eventually abandoned it because after so much progress in the game, I wasn't really happy with the way I had made my town. I wasn't happy with the paths or where I placed my public works projects. That is especially why I am so excited about New Horizons' new path feature and outdoor furnishing mechanic. There are just so many little improvements we've seen so far with NH that I can't see myself going back to NL.
I'll probably stick around on New Leaf for a while. I don't own a Switch and from what we've seen, I don't think it will be worth spending the money to get one just for New Horizons. And it will probably be another six years until I manage to complete my museum!
I've played NL so much to the point where I've become more interested in playing the older games like gamecube, ww and cf. I've spent thousands of hours on it and my main town is pretty set and finished so I think I'm done with it. Periodically I check up on it but I don't have much desire to play New Leaf anymore and after 6 years I think it's finally time for something new. For about 2-3 years I've abandoned New Leaf already, so when this new game was finally shown I got so excited for something new.
honestly i'll probably never be able to afford a switch & nh so i'll definitely be staying on nl lol. in the meantime i have a mountain of stuff left to do for my town. i procrastinate a lot with it so it'll take me ages to get it all complete
I love new leaf. But the 2ds hurts my eyes too look at it. So once new horizons is out I?ll play new leaf every now and then. I?ve done everything there is to do. Villagers aren?t fun anymore because I?ve heard every thing they say multiple times.
