How often do you get street passes?

I am so unlucky, I used to get about 1 street pass a 2 months.

I've always been around crowded places

Where did they all go..?

I get them all the time, but that's because my brother has a 3ds. The last time I got a person to street pass me, who wasn't my brother, was probably a little over a year ago now

The 3DS is considered 'dead' to a lot of people now, so not many people carry them about anymore.

Well, I guess nobody carrying around their 3DS with them anymore, hence why no Streetpass at all.
It's been years since the last time I got Streetpass.

I rarely ever get them now. I used to get them most of the time I left my house (a couple years ago, that is.), but now I'm at the point where not even the Gamestop employees give me streetpass tags.

I never got a single pass even if I did take the 3ds out. It would be even more difficult since a lot of people don't take their systems out since the switch is out and all and the 3ds isn't as popular now.

When I take my 3DS with me I'm lucky to get 1 these days. I don't even consider Streetpass anymore, I just see the "you've got one" light occasionally and after a few seconds of trying to remember what it is I'm just like "oh, wow".

I used to get loads near every day since I'm usually in or going through crowded public places, but the 3DS is pretty much an irrelevant platform now for the majority of people, thus they won't carry it around with them.


Yet another feature I wish the Switch had...It'll be a shame for Animal Crossing that it lacks this feature. I enjoyed going looking at other peoples houses I had street passed with. Even if near the same thing can be done through the internet, it's a little bit more 'special' doing it with somebody via street pass.




Oh, and occasionally driving past my friends house when I'm nearby to give them a street pass notification to mess with them. Never told him I did that, he just thought his 3DS had a problem.

Maybe once a year if I'm lucky lol. To be fair I don't really take mine out at all anymore. Last time I received a streetpass was probably at a comic con a couple years ago, and that's probably the most ideal place to take a 3DS to for streetpasses!

Used to get a few a day. Took me 3DS to some cons and would get 10 every few minutes. You can still get a lot at cons, but nowhere near at the 3DS's peak. Nowadays I only get a few a year, and that's usually if my neighbor turns on their 3DS.

The only streetpasses I get these days are from people I'm playing locally with (so a couple of relatives and one or two friends, haha). I think the last time I connected at all with strangers was at Pokemon Worlds in Boston back in like 2015. Oof.

Since my husband has a 3DS now I get Streetpass hits from him every day. Before he got his 3DS though I hadn't ever gotten a hit and I've still never gotten a Streetpass from a stranger.

i regret not bringing it to the comic con i went to a few months ago. i assume there's much higher chances to streetpass someone at a gathering.

Can't remember when I got the last time one. Getting Streetpass in my area was in general quite hard
all the time, met someone who had Streetpass on for Animal Crossing was even harder to find.
