I used to walk every day, but I don't have the time right now due to assignments and exams. almost done them though!! and I'll be back into walking everyday!
I walk to work, which is about 30 mins away...and I walk to/from my friend's house often (she lives about 2 hours away on foot). Anyway...people always ask me why I don't just drive...or they act surprised or sympathetic when they see me walking. But, I love it. I always feel sorry for them instead. Driving is stressful and you miss all kinds of neat things by simply speeding past them. I love to travel on foot. Honestly, the only bad part about traveling on foot is the actual traffic when I need to cross major roads or wait for people to look up from their phones or something. Lol.
I used to walk every day but it’s not enjoyable in the summer heat so I’m thrilled that autumn is here so I can enjoy my walks again. I live in an area with lots of nature and I love spotting wild animals. I’ve seen deer, foxes, rabbits, squirrels and lots of pretty birds
I changed my walking habits to 3-4 times a week in order to avoid getting sore legs and burnout. It’s worked out well. My legs still feel toned and it helps my mood a lot.
i go for a 25-30 minute walk pretty much everyday and jam to music with headphones on, as long as its not pouring with rain or like thundery in which case im not going outside
