This website.
THIS FREAKIN' WEBSITE. IT IS MAGICAL.
It will help you in ways you can't imagine. Are you going to bed at 12 and have to wake up at 6 and think you're gonna wake up groggy? Not with sleepytime.

Let me lay some MATH down on you! *screams in the distance*

Your body sleeps in 90 minute increments. That's an hour and a half. So if you try to wake up the MINUTE the increment is over instead of 20 minutes after or so, you will wake up feeling rested and awesome. I can testify to this. I fall asleep at 11:30 and wake up at 5:30. A good night's sleep has 5-7 sleep cycles. So for example that 11:30, 1:00, 2:30, 4:00, 5:30. That's five 90 minute sleep cycles. So I wake up feeling refreshed and half as tired as I used to when i fell asleep at 12 and woke up at 6.

Just try the website, and you'll see how this all works.
I've seen many people on these forums unable to work on their projects because of their sleeping and such. This website has helped me out, so I thought I'd share it with you! happy tiny bear.gif

I don't think that this will work but... why not? But hey... does that calculate that there is a space betwen 5-20 minutes that the body starts to "sleep"?

The times the website puts...that's around the same times I usually go to sleep so lol

why the heck
'If you fall asleep at 12:10 AM then the best times to wake up are:

1:40 AM or 6:10 AM or 7:40 AM or 9:10 AM

A good night's sleep consists of 5-6 complete sleep cycles.'

why the heck 1:40 am

The math in your example is flawed though. Your cycles are 60 minutes. It should be:
11:30 1:00 2:30 4:00 5:30
So that's only 4 cycles for you. So if you want to have have 5 you'll need to sleep at 10(or wake up at 7).

It may not work for everyone because everyone's body works differently, this is just something that CAN work. And yes, it says "The average human adult body takes 14 minutes to fall asleep" So it does count them. ^^

It does that so in case you have to wake up before 2 or something, you can wake up at that time and not feel too groggy. It doesn't mean you'll be well rested, it's just the time you could wake up and feel better than at, say, 1:20.
