I'd like to do Toy Day, but I want your opinion on how I will this year.

How will I do it this year? (I'm doing it on 12/25)

Please keep in mind I haven't played AC:NL in more than 7 months. I'm planning on TTing to 12/18 so I can do Toy Day on 12/30 though I might do 1 day earlier by setting the time to 12/17 and do Toy Day on 12/31.

Do you remember the date you last played? You should go to the date or before it if you can't remember, then tt day by day until a villager asks to move, tell them no then you can skip to the date you want to go to without any of them moving. Unless you want to go backwards, you should still go to the date you last played so no villagers move

EDIT: And isn't toy day on the 24th of December?

If you think you'll still be playing a year from now, I'd just skip it. It's not as fun to do Toy Day after Christmas because it's hard to be in the "Christmas spirit" after the holiday has already come and gone. That's why I like to do it beforehand when I'm busy with Christmas stuff. If you really just want the experience of doing Toy Day in-game though, then you should take the necessary precautions to make sure no villagers move out and then TT to about a week before Toy Day so you have time to figure out what villagers want.

i would make a new character and check out if someone moved out. if not you can just TT backwards c:
