i’m glad to hear that microtransactions are not a thing! i’m also super excited for you that you got to try out the game - i hope you had fun!!
i’m really hoping that art will eventually be in the museum, though - i’d be disappointed if they got rid of it :c

They could easily create their own art series with all the IP Nintendo owns. I'd happily walk through an exhibit of Link, Mario, and Villager paintings and statues. They could also include playable systems like they have in the past that only function if/when on display at the museum.
Maybe they will add art with a future update of the game if it?s not in it now?
I can?t imagine Redd not being around. Maybe he?s not doing shady business anymore and has a real store lol

Ahh that's disappointing. I don't see the point in the floor with the 2 benches, it literally looks like a pathway to another room.
Same with the lack of diving suits, we're on an island surrounded by water so I don't get why they would remove that. Oh well

Fossils are actually on the basement or down stairs from what I?ve seen shown at pax eastbound behind blather, not the 2nd floor
It seems odd to leave this out as it?s been part of the series since the beginning... the 2nd floor also seems out of place to just have a seating area on the upper floor with no plans of expanding father, a quote from blathers from one of the PE demos says that he recently opened a wing for fossils, so this gives me an idea that wings will open depending on what you donate, I wouldn?t rule out art yet or deep sea catches, don?t give up hope!

Yes pleeeaassee let this be true. I agree that it looks so bizarre to have stairs leading to some...seats? A weird design choice if nothing ever goes there. It also makes no sense to get rid of diving if we're surrounded by more water than ever. Even if it wasn't popular it was still a good feature to me – more things to collect and those island tours were really fun.

I mean, I don't expect there to be microtransactions, but I don't know if Nintendo's long-term monetization strategy is something that a PAX rep would know.
And same goes for the art. Did they say "there's no art in the museum" as in there isn't any art to be found right now, or "there's no art to donate to the museum in the game"?
Isn't how it used to work that you would shoot down his UFO and then he'd wash up on the beach? Am I misremembering?

I heard one lady say that this museum is just the demo museum and she doesn't know what the actual game version museum will be like plus, I guess if we start donating art like we did with other things Blathers will be like wow! Maybe we should open a new room for art eh wot! (՞ټ՞☝︎
Oh, I hope this is the case!
I truly love the art and sculptures and use them to theme my rooms from time to time.
I'd even miss Redd's forgeries.

Remove these features is strange. Nobody was complaining about diving, it was funny. Why should they remove it ? Plus, no Redd ? No sculptures in the entire game, even for decorating ? Ridiculous.

I read somewhere that they may have been merged with the fish category (which makes no sense really) a thing to note is that we have in total from the latest game nl had 72 bug/fish and 30 deep sea catches (being new to the series)
I?d love those to be back as well, mystery tours aren?t the same, and it?s more for resources and meetings villagers.
