Looks like bushes are confirmed

Nintendo just dropped some new trailers! and it looks like bushes are making a return c:

In this japanese trailer right off the bat we see two bushes on either side of the player house. at first i though oh, maybe its just like the hedge fence in new leaf BUT
in this video at 0:24 we see a bush behind the apple chair but none on the opposite side
This COULD be because the house is on the edge of a cliff but it should also be noted none of the player homes we have seen automatically have fences around them.
Not sure if they will be in the square planters no matter what but, figured since a lot of people are worried about bushes making a return I wanted to point this out c:

Also there are bushes in the museum in the butterfly room!

Of course its not "confirmed confirmed" as we havent seen any just out and about but I dont see why nintendo would include them in so many places and not put them in the town as plants again c: we may just need to unlock my favorite flower sloth!

i didn't think we would get any more honestly but i am one hundred percent okay with getting all these new looks at the graphics and furniture. it's so pretty. the wait is killing me!

that’s great! i didn’t really use any of the bushes in nl but i definitely might for new horizons!

Those bushes are definitely a part of the house, because the other side has been expanded with an additional room.

Either way with all these bush-like features in the game they have no reason not to let us use them

First off, thanks for sharing!

I won’t really take that as confirmation of “free-standing” or plantable bushes, since we’re still only seeing them attached to houses (unless I missed something?).
Like you said though, the fact that they have that bush model—as well as the ones in the museum—does make it likelier they’ll be included. Overall I’m hopeful and have too many things to be excited about to care more at the moment. We’ll see soon enough at this point! :3

Negative assumptions aren't a healthy way of thinking. There's equal chance of them being included or not being including. It's completely fine to lower your expectations, though.

I was really excited about the game today, and it's looking like another of my favorite features has been removed.

things we haven?t seen: bushes, diving, the art gallery, gyroids, mini-games, the newer fruit from NL, dreams, carnations and there might be some im forgetting. do you think all of the previously mentioned have been removed?

perhaps bushes haven?t been shown because we don?t gain access to them until we get Leif. Or maybe we find bushes on the mystery islands, and they haven?t shown that or bushes in general so as to not spoil it.

It wouldn't be spoiling it as it was a previous feature, and I wasn't talking about other missing features, only bushes.

I've said it before, will say it again. It makes no sense to me for them to take out bushes. They are giving us more customization. This includes regular plant landscaping. I mean, you we can dig up trees now. I never expected they'd give us that ability. And terraforming!

If I was a betting person, I'd be willing to bet that bushes are going to be in the game. I'd also be willing to bet a large number of other "missing" things that people are worried about are going to be in still too.

I saw the regular saplings in the Nookling's shop I think.

Yeah no thats why I'm confused as to how this doesn't "confirm" them existing o uo;;; nintendo hasn't shown the majority of furniture but its still expected to be there because its... furniture why would they remove it. I feel the same about the bushes and other small stuff like gyroids lol they aren't showing it because it isnt new. The majority of flowers and plants we have seen are new, i think we have only seen the older flowers a handful of times compared to the other ones.

Was hoping pointing this out would make people feel better since i've notice a lot asking about bushes but I guess not lmao
