I'm still curious to have Tae give a response to the specific read/No Elim, because I think the reasoning behind it matters far more than the action - because Betsy's proposed theory is possible. Tae could be trying to bunk on a guaranteed town flip to play off of having a "right read." Especially since the attempted flip onto No Elim was... weak. To say the least. On the flip side, it's not like No Elim was mafia, so it's more of a confusing play than an alignment indicative one.

i had no reason to push before EOD.
trent wasnt under fire for being eliminated until close to EOD.. there was no real need to push a gut read based off meta until the time came where he was under fire. while i can see why you'd feel like id just pull it out my butt to push like that for towncred, thats not the case at all here.. i townread trent from the start. i has multiple comments where i stated hes playing his meta- outside of his noelim stance which was new to me. but i don't play game mechanically and ive never been in the position where noemil was happening.

i stand by my thought process of: i'd rather not kill someone than kill my second strongest town read.

So Tessa was my #1 townlean D1, but starting D2 I'm currently voting them for a couple of reasons.

I don't have a proper ISO chain, so I'm going to build it out, but I think my townread on Tessa was unwarranted. The simplest reason is as follows. Town acts in benefit of town, Mafia act for self-preservation. This is basically the easiest way to try to SR anyone. I felt like, looking at the way Tessa was playing the game, that they're active + relatively helpful towny posts weren't made to try to solve the game but actually as an attempt to "look towny" via playing active town.

I think especially the entrance into D2 was pretty bad as well, especially given the large ISO chains that I don't think are actually very helpful.

im not through the entire thread yet but why th sudden 180 on your strongest town read?
you're gunning for tessa for the same reasons you gunned at trent at EOD...

tae - kinda confuses me. Makes me think that he's maf but good at hiding it, or detective. if tae comes out with any info it won't really help cuz he could sus out another mafia member or be detective sharing news.

this is the second time someone's made a quip about det. can i ask your thought process and why potentially naming me for det is smart d2.

i mean guessing by sheep's det claim, and theres no CC yet, thats still possibly the team, but you're also town-leaned by shawo if i read correctly. which is either him bussing you or him throwing known townies into his mix.

shawo being mafia also plays into why his whirlwind for trent at the end happened, and how hes devils advocate at tessa right now with an immediate d2 vote on tessa.

1) shawo's messages went from "town" and "Maf" to full blown paragraphs, and he only really posted on my posts for the first bit.
2) if you were det, then you would know more. I, of course, don't know (and sheep said they were cop)
