Gonna be honest and say I need to revisit the whole thread still. Pre-emptively yes my views have changed & I touched on it at the start of the day but I'm questioning all my views on d1 at some base level after the Trent incident. That part was not me trying to hide being a cop, that was me genuinely feeling like I placed too much faith in vibe and meta reads if that makes sense.

Betsy and tae are the two i could see being partnered with shawo, assuming sheep is det and shawo is maf1

The funniest thing here is that after sheep's post, I went back and read the whole d1 and am a lot less sus of tae. Could be wrong, but now I don't think it would be tae.

Main reason - shawo was pushing trent, but when I said I'd rather vote tae, at some point after that shawo said he was willing to flip to get the elim. I'm never confident (ever) in my susses, so I didn't push to flip the vote. I don't think shawo would be so willing to flip if tae was the partner. So I have to look elsewhere.
(Unless tae and shawo had an elaborate scheme to go against and even vote each other d1, not likely, lol).

I also don't think it would be you (sidney). When shawo first posted the 'sidney is maf, discuss' there would be no reason at all to throw a maf partner out like that, imo. And nobody active at that time really thought it was valid, just bait. So I don't think it's you.

Sheep being the det, and knowing I'm town, leaves me with random and tessa to look at.

Both are similar possibilities for distancing, but there's a huge difference in postings.

Knowing you're not being voted out does not mean you should just sit doing nothing. That's not a particularly town aligned motive dude.

Okay second to last read here we go... my opinions on people and things are so different now that Shawo is confirmed though

This is going to be a lot more rushed because I have some other things I want to discuss that I consider more important and I want to spend more time looking at(don’t worry, tae you’re still important I’m just less suspicious of you). Anyway let’s get to it.

Pros:

since you’re so down for D1 violence with no real grasp on anyone, who you killing on a whim buddy?

Like this example shows, they were early to challenge people and ask questions, seems curious. Mentioning this on the side, I totally believe they’re regularly angry. I skimmed an old game and it seems to check out. (Tae this is nothing against you ofc, in fact I admire the fact that you’re bold, it seems like an interesting play style.

Was right about Trent being town, and though this can be read as wolfy because they were so sure and went no elim, I don’t understand why they would push it so far towards no elim if mafia isn’t trying to grab attention. I disagree with their sentiment towards no elimination (even though they weren’t against no elimination as much as they were against voting out Trent) but I don’t read it as mafia this time around. It seems too harsh.

sidney's "im not posting bc i only post with value to bring" rubs me wrong, because even if your posts aren't super fleshed out and meaty any info helps. i can understand not wanting to clog the feed with ****-posting, but like, not wanting to post out of fear of how it'll be interpreted is kinda... sus. i'd rather be wrong on first day suses and try and get more info out of people than sit in the shadows and worry about how people are going to react to me posting / not posting.

i was also originally gut sus on you simply for being like "OH YEAH d1 VIOLENCE!" and then dipping out, but i think your timesozne is vastly different if i remember you being the one asking for bribes on a not 4am EOD during sign ups. theres a few people im up in the air for, but i've also never played with the majority of you so theres no past experience to bring to my feelings.

i don't think hes being the best town he has been, but he's definitely been straight shot on what he thinks and why he's doing it. never waivered. our D1 hasnt been the most eventful in history and we're battling some inactivities and what not so like, i don't don't know what to do lol.

i'll revisit trent d2, but i don't have enough of a gut feeling on him to bandwagon here.

Immediately came for me when I said I’d vote them off until they realized I was joking. This one I feel can be explained fairly enough away because those two posts of mine side by side didn’t really add up in the context, but I think they could’ve waited a second to let things play out a bit. Idk this is really a stretch it’s more difficult finding cons for tae than I thought.

I don’t think I know where they stand when it comes to just about anyone (except shawo and sheep)? I might’ve missed a post though.

I townread Tae. Maybe not as strongly as the rest but I just can’t find a lot of things to incriminate them, and I just get a solving-the-game type of feel from them. And the more recent posts from them have been actually really useful and brought up some things I wouldn’t have thought of myself.

This was Sidneys take on me d1. This was pretty much an unprompted (albeit indirect) sus toss on to Shawo. I think this technically was the very first instance of any kind of sus on Shawo? Would maf!Sidney be bold enough to try to push a vote pool with Shawo in it d1?

The only thing that makes me ??? is Shawo placing a Sidney vote a couple of mins after this.

originally i was worried it was betsy/shawo or now betsy/tae since they followed shawo in voting for trent. But it seems shawo @ ed both of them to prompt them to do so…That doesn’t seem anything certain.

From start of d2. Sidney here basically removed all responsibility from betsy+tae if we assume she knew Shawo was maf? If this isn't an anti-maf move then it's a bus but like...?
