Mysteries of the Monolith - Ended!

Seriously, it'd be a lot more fair if those of us who can't interpret the music notes could actually listen to the tune. Because we can't, I feel like the "hint" is worse than the mirror itself.
i actually tried reading them and inputting them online, but the keyboard was limited in that i could only enter single notes, so the tune probably isn't right anyway lol. when i said hint, i was thinking more like, "it is not from x franchise" or "one of the games it's featured in released in x decade/a year ending in x" etc.

You dastardly... I have such inner turmoil and once the solution is released, I will explain the hilarious level of effort I went through to get to the answer.
Time to color angrily.

Im also coloring for recovery from monolith trauma, lol. One-shot-wednesday is already inducing anxiety....

PS- if anyone knows of a good online how-to for coloring and shading crystals, and making glowy stars, feel free to pm me as I really (really) need help. I colored my crystals and they look like crayons! Ugh....

I agree. It should be something that is fair to everyone and this is not.

i had to give up on doing this one. the lines r so thin i cant see some of them and my program(paint 3d) will fill in half the page the same color.

It echos lol.

I can't read music so idk if it is just random notes for aesthetic or if they actually make a tune.
a couple on here have said they figured it out when they played the music so it seems to be a real song or a character or games theme music

i don't mind there being harder puzzles, but i think the difficulty of them should reflect the number of tickets earned and vice versa. like, this monolith and the first one, which was much easier by comparison, both being worth 2 tickets (according to the op anyway) just seems a little... eh. this one isn't worth that to me, personally, so i'll just take the L.

no thanks! I'd rather save what sanity I have left then try to crack this monolith <3

between work and packing for college I literally don't have any more brain capacity

For the record, I can't play or read music either. But you've got a day to work this one out!
Then why is that the hint? You know already know the answer so it doesn’t matter if you can’t read music or not lmao. Why not make a universally helpful hint instead of making a hint that only a small minority can read? Or why not make the sheet music more clear? Like this is not a hint it’s another puzzle😔

i 100% agree this is not a fair hint.

I downloaded a music app on my iPad to try to put the notes in, but I don't think I'm doing it right. There are blank spaces like there should be more notes, but I put all the notes in that were in the picture. And it doesn't sound right. I think I'm too stupid for this 😭
