I’m not sure what mirrors mean but I’ve played the music (I downloaded an app to recreate it) I’ve looked at characters for almost two hours, I entered one I thought was for sure it and others I thought it could be, but nothing. This is just not the thing for me

These distorted images of Nintendo characters have been part of TBT events for years. I believe it's a reference to how funhouse mirrors distort the things they reflect to the point of being very difficult (if not impossible) to recognize.

I really hope the staff can't see the hundreds of guesses I entered before the hint And by hundreds, I literally mean hundreds- I was brute forcing my way with no success But the hint helped narrow it down so I only had to brute force it tens more times before I got it! (yeah i still don't see it at all)

Yeah. I ended up having to recreate it in a program in order to listen to it, though, which took hours, even though recognizing the song it came from only took a couple of minutes.

I used noteflight. I used it throughout high school (and today) and I haven't had any problems with it!

I'm also joining the 'solved but can't see the character' club LOL

I used this app and manually entered the first two blocks. I knew the song after that, didn’t need to enter the whole thing. The app is quite intuitive so I can recommend it to anyone who is still stuck.

I found what game the tune belongs to but any character I enter is false so far so - yeah spending two hours with the sheet music didn’t get me very far yet.

part of the "got the answer but don't see it" gang. it's straight up not there, and i don't understand how the original hints apply to it at all lmao. like, i recognized what game it was from (by three notes) instantly, but i had to actually brute force the answer. ironically, i skipped over it last time, so i probably could've gotten this sooner without the hint if i'd actually entered everything. at least my instincts about the franchise were right from the get.
