Mine isn't particularly impressive because I only started using my Nintendo Switch again in the last couple of months, but I'm still curious to see other people's. Check your email to find your Year in Review 2022. :D

It was a bunch of nothing with remnants of last year’s Pokémon Café Mix kick in January, and then Splatoon 3 released and I clocked in over 80 hours in a two month span. 😅

Fall Guys and Splatoon 3 are pretty much my games for this year. Paladins I was playing before both of these games were out cause I had nothing else to play at the moment. Not sure if I'll be playing again as it not really smooth on the switch...

I didn't use my Switch much this year beyond gaming sessions here and Pokemon Violet (a short blip of Animal Crossing but that didn't last long, unfortunately):

My favorite game released on Switch this year that I've played is Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

For anybody who doesn't look at their email, here's a direct link to the website, which defaults to English (US), though there's a dropdown at the top right to change to English (Australia/New Zealand) or English (Europe) or non-English languages.

Here is mine, spoiler tagged due to the number of screenshots involved:

A bit of a shame that they didn't show the total play time and month-by-month breakdown this year, but oh well.

Here’s mine. I’ve added my thoughts below each image as well.

Honestly not surprised at all with these are they are basically the main games I’ve played this year that were for more than just a short burst.

Exactly the same as above haha. Again not surprised. Any major game that I’m hyped for I typically buy and play on release anymore.

Animal Crossing is only here thanks to the various events here on TBT as I honestly don’t play it anymore. Clannad I’ve been slowly working on completing over the last few years and I did buckle down to finish it off earlier this year. Definitely worth playing if you love the anime. Mario Kart I often go back to in random short bursts. The new booster courses also help bring me back.

Had to give game of the year to Splatoon 3. As much as I’m loving Pokémon Scarlet right now I know I’ll get many more hours out of Splatoon 3 and I’ll keep coming back to it long after I’ve stopped playing Pokémon. It’s also a much more polished game.

It’s funny to see multiplayer and shooter up so high as I really don’t play many games that fall within those categories. Thanks Splatoon for making me seem like an outgoing shooter player when really I’m laid back and don’t like any shooter outside of Splatoon.

I completely missed this!

My hand-picked game of the year... Splatoon 3!

I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did! An honourable mention to Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It was a really tough decision, and I feel terrible putting Kirby anywhere but first.

A second honourable mention to this game for being surprisingly good and hilarious. Highly recommend being played two player though.

Can't seem to upload the picture due to file size but my top 3 games were ACNH, Pokemon Violet, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

My top 3 also include Fall Guys and Stardew Valley. But I wanted to highlight this because the game really got me through my accident and being bedbound basically. It came down to 607 hours played this year.
