My museum got moved to a hill last night, so today I was able to see it. And the campsite got done today aswell, it looks so festive and cozy. Most of the time got spent on my friends island trying to catch a sturgeon(?) fish. Didn’t catch one tho <‘3
I'm waiting for my Residental Services building to upgrade then I'm going to move the houses around and build my campsite. But today, I've just been fishing and catching bugs, trying to earn some bells so I can afford to move building around.
so far, i have unlocked the museum, nook’s cranny, resident services building and the campsite will be complete tomorrow! i guess the only thing i’m working on is the able sisters and the terraforming permit/path-making tool aha
Mostly just been trying to get that darn golden trout... legitimately have tossed out close to 200 bait so far for it, and nothing...
Other than that, I'm waiting on Mable to visit again as it will be her third visit, so she'll let me find a spot for Able Sisters. Also built the campsite, which completed today and now I'm just waiting on my forced camper to visit, which is hopefully tomorrow.
I'm also slowly relocating any trees that are in the way, and crafting furniture to plop down around the island, to prep it for the 3* rating.
My RS also upgraded yesterday, so I placed my second bridge and moved the museum.
Today, I placed my first ramp and moved my house to the top of a cliff! The campsite is built today and I made the area around it pretty cute.
I'm also grinding for Nook miles. I've already set up my flower breeding fields and I have a lot of bells that I don't have a use for yet, so the only thing I can really think to do is to keep earning Nook miles.
I'm SO excited for:
eventually getting the island designer app! I can't wait to start moving cliffs and rivers and placing paths. I'm planning where I want the cliffs and rivers to be.
In the game I have currently unlocked the town hall today, Isabelle was so cute I was very happy to see her return. I got more construction options today so now I can finally build ramps and bridges. Currently a log ramp is being constructed so i'm really excited to see that being made tomorrow. I also built my campsite so now it will be constructed tomorrow, I hope the villager I get from it is one I like because I heard it was required to make that villager move in. I really want to get a bunch of the new villagers since they look so cute especially the grey cat in glasses. I have just started to arrange my flowers into a garden for breeding, I am hoping to get blue flowers. I'm hoping to unlock the able sisters so I have more access to the new clothes, I love how they have vastly changed it in comparison to new leaf. I also cant wait to start terraforming my island since i have so many plans. I feel like the new game gives more options on how you can design your island.
I finally upgraded my resident services! Now it really feels like I'm getting somewhere in the game. I also placed my campsite today so it'll be nice to scan in some of my favs!!
It’s only my 5th day on the island so I don’t have too much going on compared to most people. So far I’ve been working on breeding flowers, decorating my house and island, and just getting as much money as I can for my next house upgrade. I also just got my 4th villager Flora, so that’s nice, and I think Bea is moving in tomorrow so that’s something to be excited for
celia, my 5th villager moved in today. resident services is closed tomorrow so i'm just a bit behind most people. i've started decorating my island with some paths and fences, arranging flowers etc
Still waiting on my town tune... but for now I've got a decent size house and amount of furniture to make my house less trash. Also been making designs and pulling all my weeds off the island
I’m waiting it out until I get the campsite visitor. I don’t wanna go to empty mystery tours. I have saved around 40k nook miles to be spent villager recruiting after the first campsite move in. My campsite will be done today and I get my first forced camper tomorrow. After that I’ll go mystery tour crazy with my nook miles and look for my favorite villagers while catching fish and bugs.
The new Resident Services opened today, I moved a villager house, and placed the campsite. I'm paying off the 758k loan, which I'm over half way towards. Spent a lot of time decorating my house, and started to decorate further around the island too. Customised my island's flag, and picked Spiral Mountain from Banjo Kazooie to be my town tune (for now). Not sure about building another bridge or any inclines, since I'm going to be heavily landscaping and don't want to have to relocate too many structures.
I go on 1-3 island tours each day, came across two tarantula islands, a money island and a hybrid flower island. It was raining most of today, so I did a lot of fishing and got pretty lucky (an oarfish and two coelacanth). Came across Wisp for the third time, and seen Gulliver twice. Other than seeing Sahara and Mabel once, I've not seen much of the merchants.
I've been getting on really well with my villagers, I love them all. I try to gift them something each day, started with accessories, fruit and decorations, but gonna start giving them more furniture.
I ended up a few days behind because I got addicted to gambling on the mystery islands oops lol. Tomorrow my resident services will be closing to upgrade. I'll probably do a better job of weeding my town and then sit on top of the cliff and try for the stringfish (if I can't get it tonight)
With exception of an island with bamboo and bamboo trees, I have been getting the same ol’ redundancies of islands with the same fruit and flowers I have on my main island.
I am tempted to disregard the island tour (which costs 2,000 in redeemables) and just focus on my main island. (I am not set up for the Internet on my Switch console.)
I am not complaining. It is what it is. And I don’t intend to rush my game.
