Due to CV, stores are closing and our patience is squat when we are sitting at home....

I believe there's an early release petition going around. Although, I'm very doubtful Nintendo will, anything is possible.

Yes I’m doubtful as well... but if it were possible to release it digitally and through stores/shipments at an earlier time, that would be so amazing

It's 4 days away. I don't think Nintendo is going to do anything. Many of us still have our everyday jobs to go to and all too. It's not like we're all on lockdown.

Nintendo doesn't seem the company to take this in consideration. Brilliant content creators, but listening to a fanbase and interacting in a positive way with it, not so much.

Not even knowing or considering if its possible in the first place.

There are a lot of little laws that prevent them from doing this unfortunately. Licensing, etc. You'd be surprised.

It's not necessary and the company shouldn't be being pressured to release the game early. An infectious disease outbreak has absolutely nothing to do them.

I don’t want an earlier release. I specifically asked for the 20th off, so if it’s realeased earlier, I won’t be able to play it.
I would be disappointed if everyone started playing before me. I hope the stores don’t close off until Friday though.

I think shop staff and delivery drivers are probably stressed enough at the moment considering many of them are about to be out of work for the foreseeable future. No need to increase their workload just because some people can't wait another 4 days for their video game.

That is not going to happen lmao Why should Nintendo release their game early? So that we are less bored? Come on we are only 4 days away! Also how will this work with physical copys? XD Austira is under lockdown and everything is closed... but I still manage to do other things than gaming.

Nintendo could probably choose to release the digital version early if they wanted to, but the physical version? That's literally already out of their hands and into the hands of retailers. It's harder to change the date. Not every store would get the memo and people would get mad and it wouldn't be worth it.

Besides, it's out Friday. They won't do it.
