^I once had a tick on my lower eyelid before...was a pain in the butt to get off!
 
I came back from school once from a national park trip. A tick managed to crawl down my waist and 'below the belt'. The nicest way to put it here. It was biting hard.

I got it off. But I was visibly freaked out enough that when I came from the stall, another boy asked me if something was wrong.

I gave an honest answer. He was understanding.
 
do you guys remember like two years ago when I talked about how much I would love to have a genet plush? yeah I'm still looking for one 😭 I've only found two places that sell a genet plush, one is in South Africa (and only ships to SA), and the other is in the Czech Republic (and only ships to Europe). I sent an email to the former a while ago, but they had no idea how to go through with international shipping so it was a bust. I sent an email to the other to see if they might ship to the US, but I probably shouldn't get my hopes up.

it just sucks because the genet has been one of my favourite animals since I was in 6th grade, and I would absolutely love to have a plushie of one. I mean, look how cute she is!! 🥺💗

FINALLY! Shakira is probably one of the most talented pop divas out there, in my opinion. I know she is far from underrated, but sometimes I feel she doesn’t get the recognition she deserves.

When I was a teenager, I became obsessed with her music. Her, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears songs were my favorites on my iPod shuffle (Wow, I sound old lol.) I bought one of her newer albums (the one with “Empire) and listened to it over and over again.
I guess I’m a pop music girlie haha. I can’t get into many newer artists though.
 
Yes i am a calico critters fan. Yes i hate most miniature items and don’t want to own any of the accessories. I exist XD
 
I kinda dig the vibe of ranfren but i will never understand it. I just like looking through the website and oohing and ahhing.
 
Today I noticed that my Switch Lite screen has been damaged. It's very minor but still kind of annoying. Trying to resist the urge to use this as an excuse to replace it with a blue one. This is not the right time in the console's lifecycle to replace for cosmetic reasons.

But oh it is so pretty:

The fact that they are releasing LiS Double Exposure three months before the 10 year anniversary just tells me that DeckNine either desperately needs to turn a profit in 2024 or they really do not care. Maybe both. This might be the last DeckNine game. At least we got the comics for the half-baked ending, but LiS2 deserved better.

update on this. no, they don't ship to the US. they also don't ship to the UK so I couldn't ask my friends there to help me. 😞

Have you looked into shopping services to see if there are any that can accept delivery and forward them onto you? Not sure how common these are globally but I used to order from Japan a lot in the early 2010s and a shopping service helped me get around the restrictions of regional shipping.
 
My favorite part of this forum has been seeing my French Fry thread get pushed back to the front page several times.

Especially because I only made that thread to rant. I got too much cheese poured onto the fries at a local event.

But I'm also not the kind of person who thinks that's serious enough to go complain to the service workers about. So I just made a thread here about fries and moved on.
