Place your random thoughts.

Egyptian-themed levels in video games tend to be very harsh. In these levels, you usually see the hot desert, the curses, the mummies, and other obstacles like quicksand.
The amount of times I played the Egyptian levels in Crash Bandicoot Warped needs to be studied…. I loved how cool they looked, but so frustrating!

^Sandopolis Zone in Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a prime example of that lol.
I also wanted to say that about Haunted Tomb (Spyro the Dragon 3) and Gobi’s Valley (Banjo-Kazooie).

I don’t mind desert levels, but I’m hoping to see more levels like Angry Aztec and Sand Kingdom (both of which are based on Mexico rather than Egypt).

EDIT: Closed open parenthesis.

A little surprised the SNL 50 anniversary didn’t include Pat on the “In Memoriam” to skits and characters that didn’t age well. I’ll admit…I used to think the Pat skits were funny, but they definitely wouldn’t fly nowadays.

When you watch multiple video essayists and notice when someone stole an idea, down to the title and a pic in the thumbnail…I see you, girl.

My most consumed fast foods:
  1. Panda Express and Whataburger
  2. Chick-Fil-A and McDonald’s
  3. Arby’s and Wienerschnitzel
And if there is a Golden Chick or Torchy’s Tacos (neither of which my town has), that gets top priority.

What's your list for non-fast food?
For like home-cooked foods? I only listed brand names for fast food.

It usually depends on what foods my mom or someone else makes me. Common ones are homemade chili, casseroles (like hash browns and hamburger), and chili dogs.

I’m scared. Before my dad went to work he told my brother and I to clear the snow off the front and back steps, and we never did it. It’s too dark to do it now and he’s definitely going to come back overnight. I’m just not ready for when he wakes up tomorrow morning and he gets mad since it was an incredibly simple and quick task, and I receive another reminder of how useless I am. He’s not actually going to say that but that’s how I’m going to feel. I almost wish there was school tomorrow.

💀

But actually all jokes aside if you didn’t know “molest” used to be synonymous with “annoy,” which is probably what they meant here 🤓

I've been wondering about this for a while. We learned about Henry David Thoreau in English class a while ago and looked at quotes from his book "Walden." One of them was:
Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.
When I bought my Dog Man coloring book sometime later, I flipped through the pages and saw this other quote from the same person:
There is no remedy for love but to love more.
I don't know if he really said that or if it was just attributed to him, but either way, it seems contradictory to me. I could be wrong though, I know little about him, to be honest.

Why can't I decide what my next avatar should be. I have been back and forth with it for almost all day. The same with my signature...now it's an organized mess of characters I love (two since my childhood).

Since I live in Texas, my understanding of “hot” and “cold” days is different to what most people in North America and Europe say. Examples:
  • It’s hard for me to see how 90°F (32°C) is extremely hot or even very hot for a summer temperature. Some say that 86°F (30°C) is abnormally high for a summer temperature. If 86°F is the highest temperature Dallas or Houston could get to for one year, then summer must’ve been pretty cool or cold.
  • 40°F (5°C) is not just cold, but also very cold. And 32°F (0°C) is extremely cold.

It’s a really divisive game among the Sonic fanbase, but I actually like Sonic Superstars. One thing I do hate about the game that isn’t just a minor frustration is the bosses. A lot of them are annnoying and go on for ten years when most bosses from 2D Sonic games tend to last three seconds. I’m not saying they can’t have hard bosses and every boss should be pathetically easy because that would be stupid, but 80% of these are just not fun, especially since this game also has bosses after both acts… well, when there are two acts since the game is weird when it comes to that. Either way they suck, and what were they on when they were designing the final bosses?

I like picturing Vikings and cowboys as big, burly types with muscular arms and a belly…but Idk how accurate that is. Might have to investigate.
