I have a hacked one, but I like getting the legit ones regardless. It makes me feel better about myself. It's also not entered into my main game's Pokedex, it's just sitting around in my Bank.

Tom collected 27 flags a few days ago. I know this because he's in my Secret Base and when I talked to him, he gave them to me.

The grinding isn't that hard though. With Bases being shared through online, you can refresh them constantly. I also had real life stuff to do, but since it's so easy to grind at home, I got the 1k about a month after the games released.

I personally own Pearl, HeartGold, Black, X, and AS. My sister has Diamond, Platinum, Soul Silver, White, and White 2. Between that and some...totally legitimate methods on a friend's part, I got everything including the handful of event legendaries.

I managed to get all 493 Pokemon back in the 4th gen. Since then I've just been transferring them to the new generations and adding all new Pokemon. I have some hacked Pokemon, but I don't use those to fill out my Pokedex.

I've also purchased basically every version since 4th gen, so that's made it easier for me.
