Pokémon Pokemon General

Yellow! Everything is just so... I dunno, I feel new to the series again. It's a good feeling tbh! I'm really impressed.
Yeah, it's quite a change if you haven't played every generation. A friend of mine hadn't played Pokemon since Gold, so when he played Y back when it came out, he was blown away as well. Hope you have fun with AS.

Yep, eeeverything is new. I was buying Pokemon from other members here and the forms will have options for IVs and EVs and natures, and I was just like "dear god what is any of this" since my memories of catching Pokemon back in the day were... well, you catch it, it is what it is, and that's about it. No online trading either.

So I have to forget everything I previously knew about the games and re-learn it, which is a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. I worried it was going to be overwhelming but it's going well so far. :D

tfw looking for a shiny color reference on Regice for ORAS and you watch a person find it on a youtube vid and they get absolutely orgasmic over it.

I mean, I get it, they're incredibly hard to find because I shiny hunt myself but there's no way in hell I would scream as if I just won the lottery.

Sometimes I'm really thankful I don't get too excited over a color change, they're fun to hunt but I just stay calm lmao.

I have XY but I couldn't get into it, just started ORAS and liking it a lot. I'm thinking about trading all of the Pokemon I caught on XY (not a lot) to my new game and getting rid of it. However, I know there are a good number of XY-only Pokemon, so I was wondering, how easy is it to get XY-only Pokemon from trades? Do I really need to play XY to (mostly) complete my Pokedex?

Ok so this has been killing me.

Unown.

Is it pronounced like "unknown", or more like "uh-noun".

For the legendaries, it might be a bit hard. With others you can ask in the Pokemon Trading Center here and people will probably be willing to help you out. I could breed a bunch of XY Pokemon for you if you'd really want them.

I've always pronounced it "un-own". It's also pronounced like that in Pokedex 3D Pro.

Well, IVs and EVs have always been around

"un-own" in the movie too

I'm actually not too worried about legendaries as I've got a bunch of XY ones from Japanese events. But I'll at least keep my copy just in case I can't get the others! And thanks for the offer. I don't wan't to use up too much of your time, so I will try my luck at the trading thread/GTS/WT first! :)

Ninty AU and EU have confirmed the 2DS bundles with Red/Blue/Yellow will be releasing there. Though they don't get the map and Mew code or w/e like the Japanese ones, they just get 15 stickers (and apparently a code for a theme too)
US is getting a new 3DS bundle with exclusive cover plates for red and blue

Not sure if it applies elsewhere, but the email I got from Ninty AU says that is you pre-order Super PMD at select stores, you'll also get a download code for the pokemon theme if you were to buy it on the eshop. Not sure if this is the same for EU.

The first image of the cover of CoroCoro has been released through a trailer. This cover includes the first silhouette of a brand new Pok?mon. This Pok?mon is called Magiana. We'll bring images of it as soon as humanly possible so keep checking back. We'll bring more as it comes

I was working, sorry to disappoint that I don't sit around on my computer all day

anyway the silhouette literally looks like a female version of the nintendo badge arcade rabbit LOL

Said it elsewhere, but diancie dress forme for me :)

Booted up and messed around on battle spot, why so many people with under lv 50 teams that aren't evolved ...

I assume that's an american code anyways?

Does anyone have a spare EU Mew code? I could breed you something. :p
