I got the digital copy just because I really don’t like going to video game stores anymore. It’s just a hassle. I used to be very against digital copies, but not so much anymore.

I’ll probably play it right at midnight when it releases for a bit, and then more over the next several days.

I know it's a risk with shipping time if ordered online but that's what I do to avoid going to stores too haha. At least I work most of the day Friday anyways so not having it at midnight isn't a big deal for me. Even though I'm sure the work day will drag on cause I know the game is out. 😂

I just noticed that BestBuy charged my card today for my Brilliant Diamond preorder, Hype! They typically ship the night before so it should hopefully ship out tomorrow so that I will likely receive it on Friday. :)

Unfortunately it looks likely that my game is delayed. They sent it way passed where I live last night for some reason. I hope it's wrong but it's probably correct.

Shipping estimation says Tuesday but I hope it comes on Monday. It didn't have all that far to go either but oh well. I can focus on the AC update stuff this weekend at least.
 
Forgot to update that I ended up getting the game on Friday after all. The town I live in doesn't have a game store which is why I ordered it online in the first place but I had forgotten the town that I work in does (they are 70km/43.5 miles apart).

I stopped by the store after work Friday and got a copy. I will still get the other copy in the mail but the store it's from has a return policy so I'll just return it once it finally comes (it's estimated to come Wednesday).

Really liking the game so far though I still prefer the originals on DS, but do like several things they've done with it. I just unlocked Pokemon following after visiting Amity Square in Hearthome City. I will play it more in bits and pieces here and there after work this week.

oh my gosh, that's so awful. I'm so sorry!! I've reset tons for a decent trainer ID and joked to my bf that I was going to encounter a shiny starly before I got a trainer ID I was happy with (which I did find: 181919! I even took the time every reset to name my friend Chuckles out of sheer determination lol). To have that actually happen just feels super bad!
 
I forgot how much I hate the Pokeradar. Chaining for an IV Ditto is going to be brutal
 
Took an updated picture of my Pokémon Game collection. I typically only buy one version of each pair/trio of games. Only exception is Diamond and Platinum. I’ve had Diamond since I was a preteen and I bought Platinum earlier this year as it’s a way better game and fixes several issues that Diamond had. I’ve contemplated on selling Diamond but it’s too sentimental. Second only to Emerald which was my first ever video game period.

Man I hope they fix the GWS stuff in Jubilife soon, I want to send up my Bidoof and get shinies lol...
 
Playing BD and my team consists of Torterra, Staraptor, Luxray, Ponyta (hopefully Rapidash soon) and Gyarados. I'm kinda undecided on what my sixth Pokémon should be. Any advice ? :)

I’d recommend getting a Dark or Ghost type and adding it to your team. Lucian of the elite four can be difficult to deal with if you don’t have one. Or you could get a Fairy type for Cynthia’s Spiritomb. It’s up to you.
