Looks like I was right about McDonald's. Seems they have plans to turn every location into a Pokestop and/or gym.
This would be amazing as I could literally walk five minutes east or west and I'd run into a McDonald's. There are two right near me. ;u;

Really? I'm not close to a mcdonalds but if they do this with pubs I have one right next to my house, at least I can reach a gym from my house, but if they also had the pub I would be set for life.

There's three gyms close to where I live (including a church down my road), I haven't played it for long and my phone and connection to the servers were being a bum so I'm only level 3. But once I get better I'm taking those three gyms (considering two are controlled by one team and the other is controlled by another but I don't know what team to join anyway so... yeah). There's also a few pokestops that are five maybe ten minutes away from my house, I've been to one and might go to the other tomorrow if I can be asked and if I can shake my anxiety off to make the walk.
The AR doesn't work on my phone, it doesn't bother me because I care about collecting the pokemon and taking over gyms but it would be nice to see where in my area the pokemon appear.

There' something going on with my GPS ever since the update.
Before the update, the GPS would go on a stay on, might spin every once in a while.
Now, where I'm going, the GPS (or White Pokeball in the Corner) continuously spins and it makes it hard for pokespots. It will just spin, then going away and as soon as it goes away, it quickly comes back. When arriving at a post stops, it still spins, and once I'm outside of it's reach, the GPS seems to work. Therefore, not getting much stops as I want.
Does this seem to happening to anyone?

I've only seen a Vulpix once at the park, but the app glitched so even though it was on the screen I couldn't tap on it.

The Pokeball in the corner is actually the loading icon, not the GPS. It does the same thing for me usually, but that's probably because of the servers. Unfortunately Pokemon don't appear while things are "loading".

So that green pulse thing doesn't work. A Shellder was in my area and the pulse thing was happening, but the steps never decreased. Eventually it disappeared off my nearby list.
And even when I hadn't had a Pokemon selected, the pulse was still going...

I'm also figuring that out :/ I opened the app in my house and it said I had an Venasaur nearby (one foot step) so I jumped up and tried to find which way I needed to go to find it then I totally lost it and my app just crashed. It's so annoying
I know I need jinx too but it's so creepy ; v ;

I was tranferring a ton of pokemon tonight and then got in the motion and accidentally transferred my hitmonchan.... smh I'm an idiot

Cousin 'kidnapped' me and took me around to get some pokeballs at the Pokestops close by. I netted bout 50 balls...till we stopped at a place that had a lure. And a pokemon I really wanted spawned. Annnnd I'm back down to 10 balls. FML. xD

We went to the mall earlier and I was able to snag a haunter!!!! Didn't get much else as their wifi was craptastic but it was still a good day! We tried forever to get my youngest signed up for a Pokemon trainer club account so he can get the Go app but didn't succeed. He's so disappointed right now. I let him on mine of course but we're hoping that we'll be able to get him the app when my bestie sends me her hubs old phone using Google. Fingers crossed. He'll only have wifi access but I'm ok with that. If he's ever able to get a Pokemon trainer club account, we'll put that on his tablet later.
i would say not to use a ptc for pokemon go, although ptc itself on the internet is fun. ptc doesn't work well (i've tried before) with pokemon go the last time i tried, so i'd have to say to make a gmail under your name for him.
