Pokémon Pokemon Sun and Moon General Discussion

"In Japan, Game Freak has filed for a couple of interesting trademarks. The Pokemon developer registered the names ?Solgaleo? as well as ?Lunaala?. Folks are now speculating that these two could be the mascot starters in Pokemon Sun/Moon.

I think they might be giving us a lot. The events and etc. in the trailer seem to be big changes or sneak peaks. It'd be underwhelming if they only gave us a gym (ground or water.. again.) and that was the end with cars. Since it was in a trailer, I thought maybe it'd have a bigger part in the game.

This is Game Freak who gave us an extremely underwhelming 6th generation, you're aiming high when you should be aiming low.

"It has been discovered that back in February 2016, two trademarks were registered for Solgaleo (ソルガレオ) and Lunaala (ルナアーラ). Many have speculated that these are the Legendary Pok?mon for Pok?mon Sun & Moon due to the format of the trademark. However, unlike all Pok?mon trademarks, these trademarks weren't registered by Nintendo, Game Freak or Creatures Inc. but rather listed under the name Yusuke Inui who, upon research, appears to be an IP lawyer in Japan. It's possible that this is just a registration via proxy which does happen from time to time, but it is 100% not confirmed that these trademarks pertain to Pok?mon. We'll bring more details as they come so keep checking back"

Well I know Lunaala would be the moon because "Luna," Solgaleo would be the sun because "Sol" means sun. So I can see where people are getting these ideas from.

I agree though. When X and Y were first introduced they revealed the starters AND the mascots. I was so excited. But now it's been like 2 months and they still haven't showed us anything. :/

lol i forgot it was that i mean once the release gameplay or new pokemon the hype is back on
i feel like they're not advertising this game as much like they did with past gens

Pretty much this..would be nice to see something more just than "apparent" Pok?mon names and the approx. release date to be honest by now if they are supposed to get it out this year.

For me I'm only hoping for better opportunities to get stones and evolving items and that they make better battling stuff that actually earns you money rather than having to blast through E4 every time you need that sigh(as for XY that is).

I'll get ready for disappointment. Something along the lines of them only saying "the legendaries are called Solgaleo and Lunaala" and showing nothing.

In XY I'd use the Battle Chateau. When you get to the higher ranks the money is quite all right, especially with an Amulet Coin, and the battles are really easy to get through. Battling there makes money pile up fairly quickly, faster than running the E4 at least.

Yeah true that I still wish they'd bring back that trainer device thing that let's you re-battle people.. Like the phone or vs. seeker.
 
I wish they'd bring back the singular rivals tbh. The ones from last game had pretty much no development lol

Yeah, what's the deal with having like.. four or whatever from the XY games and yes I agree they were boring asf.
