  • Watch at least five videos from the Dreaming Spanish YouTube channel
  • Work on chapter 15 of Complete Spanish Step-By-Step
  • Read for at least an hour

I definitely had a hard time getting going for awhile because a family member at the time was diagnosed with breast cancer and my mind was solely focusing on helping them and feeding my cats. Completely forgetting about the house, I realized that is one way that is gonna make things better, keep the house clean. So between my days off (which I have taken every Friday off from work to help out since for some reason they absolutely need me to work every goddamn weekend I stg) I always clean the house top to bottom and I have kept up with it for 7 months now. And I love doing this, keeps me busy and happy since my house gets to smell clean as heck AND I get a good workout in,
My list is as follows (On Friday, all of this is done, other days are quick pick ups or pick and choose what looks like it needs to be done)
  • Wash the floors (Friday)
  • Do the dishes (every single day chore)
  • Sweep the floor (basically every single day)
  • Dust (when needed)
  • Vacuum
  • Clean the bathrooms including the shower and the toilet and not just surfaces (every day off)
  • Laundry (anytime we need it/every day off as it is becoming)
  • Make food ready for everyone
  • Make sure to not freak my cats out by all of this cleaning
  • Speaking of cats; changing their litter and making sure their bathroom area is clean (every single day because that's the only area that makes the house smell is when somebody doesn't pick up after them and I pick up their "crap" every single day.)
And then we have our basics of some chill relaxing or easy going time:
  • Make the coffee
  • Clean my room
  • Play games online or console
  • Organize the bookshelves
  • Bake

~ Hunter_Gr33n's list of current priorities (sorted by importance at the time of writing) ~
  • Laundry
  • Spectate in the SSBU game at 3:30 pm MST (The Camp Bell Tree one)
  • Boot up ACNL and do things you do in ACNL
  • Do the above, but for ACNH
  • Update both of my town/island journals (or at least the ACNH one, I've been putting that aside for ages now) and my art thread.
  • Finish writing chapter 13 of the fanfiction I'm writing.

I have to install my skin on my Disney MagicBand tomorrow. Let's hope I can accomplish that without my dad asking why I'm using the blow dryer in this weather, lmao.

Edit: I've done this, and it's already for the trip!!

  • Dedicate 1 hour a day to designing ACNH island
  • Update my Hamilton Reacts fanfiction
  • Write Wattpad contest entry
  • Read one chapter of Alexander Hamilton biography a day
  • Read one chapter of The Cuckoo's Calling a day

*digs this thread up from the aftermath of the camp posting wars*
anyways. i have stuff i gotta do tonight.
  • post on flight rising
  • change my alarm (ive been sleeping through my current one, no good)
  • clean my room
  • plan my coord for next saturday

I *need* to be doing these:

-Researching stuff on my trip to Connecticut.
-Researching moving stuff.
-Cleaning my room and bathroom.
-Practicing oboe.
-Testing a mod for someone for The Sims 4
-Working on my own CC and mods

Sometimes burnout hits and it's hard to get things done. There's been a mixture of that and stress for about the last year due to some family stuff, and a lot has fallen to the wayside since. =( But the trip, moving and cleaning are absolute necessities.

Need to start cutting my hair today or tomorrow. It‘s over a meter long so I’ll do a few takes to make sure I don’t chop too much off at once and regret it.

In the next week I’ll start watching a mini playlist of drawing vids I made and get back to studying that hardcore. I want to do drawabox but I’ll see on that.

If there isn’t anything getting in the way I also want to go to the library and get people reference photo books if I can find that and plant books buuuut there are some emergencies rn outside my control

Current Goals (Again, ordered by priority)
  • Do my homework
  • Laundry
  • Make something nice for my grandma (her birthday's in a few months!)
  • Work on the story I'm writing (I made it a goal to get at least done with the first four chapters by the start of October. Current status: 4 out of 4! Done!)
  • Finish up the drawings that have been laying untouched for weeks or even months.
  • Update island journals
  • Update art thread
Things that aren't necessarily GOALS, but I should still try to get to them.
  • Boot up ACNL (and maybe ACNH)
  • Work on something for a good friend's birthday (their birthday won't be until January, but I should still get an early start on it.)
  • Change pfp and signature. Camp Bell Tree '23 is over and done with.

I seem to have managed to pull myself out of the depression I was in. I cleaned today. Still have more to do tomorrow but I am doing it piece by piece but I got a lot done today and it looks a lot better.

Tomorrow I just have to:

Vacuum entire apartment
Do 2 loads of laundry (clothes, then couch/chair covers)
Take out trash
Clean the shower stall
Clean the fridge and microwave
Clean counters

Everything else I did already today, I swept and mopped the bathroom and kitchen floors, cleaned the litterbox, took out most of the trash, cleaned my keurig coffeemaker, cleaned out my pantry of all expired items and unwanted stuff, cleaned the toilet and sink in the bathroom, did the dishes, organized a bunch of stuff in my closet, took boxes out to the trash. I organized all the wires plugged into my surge protector, it was a huge tangled mess, looks a ton better.

Oh yeah I need to clean the dust etc off my big air vent. and sometime in January I need to take my comforter to the laundromat because it is too big to wash in my apartments washer.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, I just remembered it and it really helps me having a place to post about it cause I lack motivation a majority of the time
